Naaah, it's perfectly fine.

It's not like they have women prancing around a battlefield in catsuits and heels with their hair in their face and make-up... Or using a belt as a bra in one game then having visible nipples in the next... Or having cameltoe despite being a robot... Or having numerous cleavage and ass shots everytime they engage you in conversation.

Seriously though, it made me sad reading the art book that came with the ME3 N7 edition and almost every time a female character got mentioned the first thing was "They needed to be sexy with lots of sexy sex appeal.".

I completley agree OP. The sex apeal in ME3 is annoying and just sexist. It's quite offensive to see such an open minded company as BioWare treating women as sex objects. I must say I'm surprised FemShep can wear armor to battle, and BioWare didn't only give her the stripper outfits.

I used to really love Ashley. She was an amazing character, and that wasn't because she had sex apeal. I mean, sure, I saw her as attracive. But she didn't try, she didn't care. I loved it about her. I was so angry when I saw what was done to her in ME3.

However, I will not agree with you on Miranda. Not all her fans are attracted to her only because of her looks. Weren't the alterantive outfits for her in ME2 created for the fans who thought she deserve more than just buttshots?

Same can be said for EDI. I love her, but it sure took me a while to calm my rage over her...outfits. If you can even call it that. I REALLY hope they will make alterative outfits for her.

I was more concerned with the way the female characters' breasts were pumped up for the third installment. That was totally uncalled for.

But yeah, I see your point It's not even a question of beauty vs. ugliness, but of streamlining our concept of beauty to the point where it becomes a lifeless and uniform plastic aesthetic.

Ok...This is getting too one sided. The males were also sexy as well. Hech, the defualt Shepard's face is from a real life model.
Also, Ashley even with the make up on is the same person she was and has armor to fight in to boot. You're relly getting bent up over her make up even though she is in full gear for war?

Also, EDI body is that way as a joke. If you want to go that far, even the banshees have their junk still.

Maybe that's the real reason they replaced it with nipple city ME3.

Seriously though, Jack is my favourite character apart from Kaidan, but the default outfit in ME2 and her outfit in ME3 are ridiculous (the former being marginally worse than the latter)... Even if they did want to show off her tattoos and distinct personality. :pinched:

The males actually became less sexy. Their ass is flatter, the shoulders are wider. Kaidan is less sexy than he was (not that he isn't now, but less). And I'm sorry, I didn't find Vega's boobs attractive at all. Kind of a turn off, actually.

EDIT: I realise that it is kind of my own personal taste. It can be that the men became more sexy, I just don't like it. Guess you were right about the "one sided" part ^_^.

And ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!!?!? Ashley is NOT the same pesron. First of all, with the new outfits, she earased the "I'm not the type to wear skirts". Also, she is now just shuts her mouth and never talk, just to not make her annyoing. Only a sex toy. Completley different person than she was.

And, mind you, Miranda and Jack have so little to say you only catch the butt from Miranda and the nipples from Jack. That's it, basically.

EDI's body is NOT a joke. Don't treat it as such. It was to make guys horny. And Banshees are harvested.

This is probably the most sexist comment I've ever read on this thread. So, in your opinion, beautiful women are only sex objects ? It's like you think they have nothing behind their good looks other than a potential for pleasurable bedtime. It sickens me.

Gosh, the "People should remain themselves" are really trying to undermine the efforts of people trying to look good.

Yes, she is sexy but with how she normally dresses, I see that it's in her character to do so. So I'm not trobled by it.
This is a woman who use to where a belt as a bra....You're suprised She dressed like this now?

I understand your point, OP.

While playing ME3 I also asked myself: Why do they have to enlarge Liara's bust size with every game/DLC the release? You'll notice that her upper parts went from "normal" in ME1 to (supposedly) "directed at male audience" in ME3...

It's not like this would have any impact on her character. It just seemed like they did it just for some "eye candy".

EDI's body is a joke. It's they are to mocking the sexy robot theme in scifi. EDI character is all about jocking.

Also, Ashley never said she never wear skrits. She said she wouldn't wear a type of Skirt Shepard discribed in ME1. She still wears armor and she still blunt as a hammer.

The males are given more of a classic romin ideal build. It may not be in your taste but the males are still give sex appeal.

Miranda's looks are explained and with Jack's personality, it should not be a serprize she is wearing what she is wearing.

lol they talk like Samara and Miranda and the others are real people with real preferences based exclusively on their personal choices as individual adult persons, instead of being characters in a game whose 3d models and outfits were designed by this guy.

Ok..Thatmakes no sense at all. Your still being one side, being the males have this done to them too and that not all the female character are oversexuled out side what their personals dictate. It's with in Jack's and Miranda's personality to dress that way. Ashley on the otherhand is not dressed sexy at all.
