allright, i have somewhat revised my (low) opinion of ea tech support. while live support an email support are worse than useless, the American hotline is great! the guy i got issued me with a new serial in under 10 minutes! now to reinstall and see if it works...

That's not necessarily true

The Live Chat support is god awful a waste of time, it's a complaint Sponge

Calling them on the phone, you may have to listen to elevator music, or be put on hold sometimes, but they actually make an effort to fix your problem instead of copypasting lines from a situation handbook

I noticed this problem with my game on Friday (didn't try playing on Thursday so it might have been happening since then). I requested contact by email and was told to repair install. I'd already tried this but gave it another shot just in case. Still didn't work so I replied to the email saying as much. No response. Tried callling them this afternoon and it was confirmed that it is this issue I'm suffering, they gave me too many commendation packs. I was asked to try reinstalling from disc and to email them if that didn't work, then I'd get a new serial number if the problem persisted. I sent the email saying it still doesn't work an hour and a half ago and I'm still waiting to be sent me new serial number despite the guy on the phone telling me he'd keep watch over my case file for an update from me.  EDIT: After waiting 2 hours for a response to my email I phoned them again and get a new serial number straight away.  All seems to be working now!  Image IPB

If anyone from Bioware's technical QA team reads this please make sure this bug of issuing too many commendation packs causing account lockdowns doesn't happen again. I've now missed out on two evenings of playing this game with my friends and it looks like I'll be missing another day all because something went wrong at your end. It really is quite disappointing to have this happen. I want to enjoy the game. I want to be able to recommend it to friends. The event weekends should be something to look forward to and make me want to play more. Now I fear what comes after as there has not been a single event that has gone by without myself or one of my friends having their online access broken by the issuing of rewards.

yup. definitely call their phone support. if you live outside teh united states, there is a very good voip phone plugin for gmail that lets you make international call for ludicrously low rates. every time i have gotten through to the ea us phone support team, Ive ended up with someone who is polite, listens to me AND ACTUALLY KNOWS ABOUT THE GAME! got given an origin discount docket-thingy as compensation for my pains. i cannot stress this enough: do NOT bother with live chat or email, phone support all the way

update: dont just settle for a new serial. you have to make sure they understand the anti-cheating thing has been tripped, and your account has been locked. otherwise, a new serial does jack. i just wish that EA support was this efficient outside the states. in America: phone support 7 days a week. Australia: Monday to Tuesday only!

Please help!!
I contacted EA, and they asked me which version of ME3 I bought, I said the N7 Digital Deluxe Edition.
Then the advisor said that I'm not supposed to have N7 Collector's Edition Content in my bioware account. And he said he's not sure how I got it and stuff, and he said that I have to attach an official advertise proof so they'll allow me to log in ME3 again!?

I mean seriously, WTF! Do you really understand your products well, EA?  A total rip off

What the hell do they mean by "official advertise proof"? If they want you to prove to them that the Digital Deluxe version comes with the bonus weapons, armour and stuff then show them this screenshot from the Origin store:

I'm oversea and my origin is not in English, I wanted to show them the "proof" but they kept saying that they don't know how the hell I got the collector's content since I'm a digital deluxe owner.

serisouly!! do we buyers have to educate the support staff of what their products supposed to have!? This is ridiculous!

Having the same issue now, for the second time. The first time I read somewhere on these forums that I should delete a file called OnlineProfile.profile and it worked. Now this solution is not working anymore.

as mentioned earlier, one cause of this is being given multiple commendation packs due to a glitch, causing your online access to be lock due to overly sensitive anti-cheating software

Okay, so I went into live chat and the guy told me I'd been banned for cheating, which I guess might have been due to the extra packs. Sadly he had no other tips for me than to post here. Hoping someone will get back to me, because I really can't afford to phone all the way to the USA. Can anyone help? Please?

From the cheating ban wave thread in the multiplayer thread, if you have been banned and think an error has been made email here: ME3AccountAdmin@BioWare.com

Also, there are phone lines for other countries than America. UK line is 0870 243 2435. Seems to be entirely staffed by Irish people, which is nice if you like Irish accents. ;)

Thank you, I will mail them right away. Let's hope they can fix it, I'd hate to loose all this time and effort. Jesus, the time I spent farming gold for the new DLCs alone... i don't even want to think about it.

 On the 21st this started happening to me too. I contacted EA support and they told me I had been banned for exploiting. Only problem is, I never did -.- I never did the "reset weave" exploit, the "infinite missiles" exploit, I didn't even ever hit enemies through walls, to show how absourd this is.
The tech support rep couldn't do anything about it from his/her end, and told me to ask here. Any Bioware/game rep could give me more infos?

Also, Mass Effect 3 Datapad's "GaW" works just fine.

Yea, I have ME3 CE and it is blank in the download column. It was fine previously and I have not play the game for about a month. Now I can't access to multiplayer due to this "redeem/buy online pass" problem...

Anyone else can help?



EDIT : The problem solved now. Talked to Origin Live Chat Support, nothing's wrong with my code. Nice support as they have fix the issue within 10 mins, now can connect as usual.
