Is this is some kind of racial/cultural discrimination? (Bioware, please comment this somehow!)

I really, REALLY tired of your copy-and-paste robots from technical support (I understand - maybe they are not authorised to answer such sort of questions) , so I will try to describe the problem in general here, though you may find it "technical" only for 50%.

I wonder why do we (I mean ukrainian gaming community, and possibly, russian - but I cannot speak for them - don't have much teammates from there) have such an attitude to us? Especially when we have a technical issues?
It all started during the game pre-luanch - EA simply refused to ship collector's editions to Ukraine and only a few boxes to Russia (even in lower ammount, than they promised (If I can believe our local reseller )). But it's OK - who are we? Only a third-sort country... Only a several million market - that is nothing for you, really. +/- a few millions is not a real matter for such huge and awesome company.
I can assure you, that hundreds of people were eagerly waiting for this game and wanted to get a collectors's edition - but you spit on us, who cares, right?
But this is a separate story for another time...

Now about the technical problem. And where do I suspect some form of discrimination or just extremely bad attitude.
The damned commendation packs. From the very first weekend missions - not once, I repeat - NOT ONCE, me and none of my ukrainian teammates recieved a commendation pack as It sholud. We were waiting for several days, and finaly we had to write to the techsupport to claim our rightfull reward! EVERY single time. It brought nothing but frustration at first (and combined with the general amount of bugs/crashes in the multiplayer it slowly but inevitably was killing our wish to play), but the last time the situation brought nothing but RAGE... For how long?! Every f***ing time!!! And when I speak to support - I recieve nothing but copy and paste questions/answers!!! The DON'T EVEN READ what I am writing. And this is not mentioning the horrible work of our "russian" techsupport - we do not even have a live chat function! How do people who can't speak english are supposed to solve thechnical issues "right now" ? Well, you brought the game to russian market - why the hell you don't properly support it?! This is simply illogical!
And finally you made your best shot! One of my teammates didn't recieve a commedation pack automatically (oh really?... what a surprise!) and left in business for some days, so she didn't have an opportunity to be online. And when she came back - she noticed that the cmmendation pack didn't arrive (see above again...), and when we tried to claim it through the technical support - the only thing we could pull out from you copy-and-paste robots was "We can only give the commendation packs during a week." Guys, what the hell?!! IT IS a COMPLETELY YOUR FAULT! You promised to give the item - you didn't. And now you are truing to tell me, that I HAVE NO RIGHT to claim what is rightfully earned because of YOUR mistake?
What If I gonna have such a situation? You gonna just say to me "F&!^$@ OFF" too?
So.
In fact we have that you cannot make your game work properly and than you punish us and trying to tell us that we are wrong. And, beleave me when I say that this is't a single situation.
For how long it will last?

P.S. And still I demand that the situation with my friend must be solved!

Yeap, i have this problem too. I didn't recive any of commendation packs just as they should, only through tech support. And i think this is not right. If you didn't recive comm pack because of game bugs, why you should be punished? And in this game a lot of bugs, both in single and multiplayer mods. I think this is a disrespect of your customers. We are wating about 6 moth to fix this bugs, but there are a lot of balalnce solving and any bugfixing (working bugfixing)

Fully agree with XXXColossusXXX. Situation with commendation packs is terribly annoying. I didn't get not a single one without request to the support. Buy collector's edition in Ukraine looks like something impossible. I can only order this edition from foreign country in foreign language. Number of bugs and lags in multiplayer is pointless to count. But who cares, right? Ukrainian gamers are third-sort gamers from third-sort county. We don't have the right to get as quality service as european and american gamers. We just don't deserve that right because of our nationality and place of births. Shame on you, EA and Bioware...

Well... Its nothing new , Western Countries still throw **** on eastern countries [You know , i mean The ones where was communissm? Oh, F*ck yeah ... it was frustrating. etc. but thats different]

All i can say from my experience , is this... since youre "just" [< No bad mean from me ... im not from USA or germany , or any EU better states..] ukraine ppl and a minority .... i dont think they will do anything about it ..

That is what I am talking about! Why they let us play their game, but refuse to help/propper support it for us?
Simply don't sell it here -ban the whole region. Like they (I mean other companies) did with Batman Arkham City and Skyrim.
But to sell it here and then spit on us - I think it is wrong...

I sympathize, but keep in mind this is a user-to-user tech support forum. BioWare and EA will likely not read this and they're even less likely to comment.

The availability of live chat is not connected to your country but to your language. If you want to use the live chat feature in the Origin application, make sure your language is set to English. I live in a non-English speaking country and I've had to contact EA twice to get a commendation pack (I received commendation packs for all other challenges) and I thought this was a quick and easy solution.

While I sympathize with your frustrations, I hate to tell you that we here in the vaunted (dry sarcasm) United States don't receive any better customer service than you. True, I had access to "live tech support"... which appeared to be someone in India who could barely type, and had the IQ of a toaster. Honestly I suspect they were, as you say, copying and pasting responses from a script. Well, except for the typos, which I assume would have been corrected in an actual script.

My problem was losing both credits and bioware points to the store disconnect bug. Something like 2 million credits and over a thousand Bioware points. The "live tech support" guy pretty much told me that they're aware of the issue, and to post in the forums to get reimbursed.

When I asked -where- in the forums to post, and how that would magically get me reimbursed, the response was simply "social.bioware.com". Like I didn't know where the forums are. When I asked again, he told me to have a nice day, and disconnected.

So honestly I think the problem is that EA has horrible tech support. They've always had horrible tech support. They've always had horrible customer service. It honestly has nothing to do with who you are or where you're from, I believe they suck without prejudice.

I am aware of this - but what can I do? Write to these "toasters" (nice one, FirroSeranel :devil: ) again? Maybe you know the site/forum where my arguments can fit and find a feedback from Bioware?

Also funny< but they have proved that they did - quoted some frases, named famous Marauder Shields etc.
But, yeah it actually doesn't prove anything:unsure:

I am beggining to believe that this (I mean Mass Effect 3) is the last game I have bought from EA and Bioware also. First they killed their fanasy franchise with Dragon Age 2, than made terifically bugged and annoying The Old Republic, EA killed the Dead Space with it's sequel....

I understand, that all the publisher cares about is (EA speaking alike) MONEY! Give me! Give me more!!!! MOOORE!!! MUAHAHAHA!!! And I will forget about such things as tech support! Quality! Stable product working! Account protection! YOU WILL BE MY SLAVES, WHO WILL BE BRINGING ME MONEY for the CRAP I DO!!!! :devil:

I honestly believe thet act somelike that ;)
But - I have a question for tem -
Why do I have to pay for the thing/products that doesn't bring me joy? I simply will not... And I think I will be promoting the idea of ignoring EA products along with the Bioware. I'm sure I will find a lot of followers :wizard:
