Like, if this game came out 5 years ago and consequently had everything unlocked out of the box, would you still prefer Gold?

If it were a 5 year old game, I'd be bored like hell, regardless what unlocks or difficulty it has.

For Credits - I enjoy Silver more. I have to really concentrate on Gold and sometimes it can be a bit of a slog

Yes I would still play Gold. But I'm pretty sure there are people who play Gold/Silver because of the troll store and who would have more fun on Silver/Bronze. This sucks but that's how EA is trying to sell multiplayer.

Credits. Mostly why I play FBWGG, and also my weapons aren't adequate enough to play the "harder" Gold missions. Yet.

If this game came out years ago and I had everything unlocked, then I'd still be playing Gold now since it'd be a worthy place to use my Ultra Rare X-level weapons.

Credits mostly, the only time I find gold more enjoyable than silver is as an AA, AV vs Cerberus or when I can pair with another good Adept and go Michael Bay on everything.

Just for helping getting credit to fill the missing parts of my manisfest and only with friends. Other than that Silver, anytime. Cant handle the Gold all the time, because I play late at ninght and I amm too tired to focus. I just to want have fun and complet a few missions on Silver, I dont ask for more than that.

Play with friends on Silver/Gold, PUG Silver only. The credits are welcome on Gold, but I mostly play higher difficulties because my play-style is actually useful. In Bronze, it's all about MOAR DAKKA.

I prefer a SE that uses rank 6 Decoy (spec'd health/shielding) to keep bosses off my buddies, rank 8 shield drain to make me hardier and it help strip shields for buddies, and a APmodded Talon to get through Guardian shields if my buddies can't. (I also have incinerate: area > DoT > armour). I like using cover and will take it to look around corners.

On bronze, none of that matters. They don't need a decoy because everything dies in a couple shots. They don't need a shield drained because it's easy to get past the gate. I don't need the 40% damage reduction because I'm taking stuff-all damage. Nobody needs cover, so they don't bother, and 'looking around corners' is useless when a quick attack could kill almost everything on the field in a few seconds, save the bosses.

Silver is better, though I still find my Decoy means little because the players run all over the place...

Playing Silver is a net loss of credits usually due to equipment used during the match. Gold and Bronze are the best ways to make credits.

Both. Money first and foremost, lulz with all the excitement and craziness of the matches.

I'd still play Gold if I had everything unlocked, mainly due to my competitive self in most things. Say I was a Silver player, it would still bug me that there'd be a higher difficulty without me in it.

Fun and credits. Silver is too easy for me unless I completely handicap myself and the fact that you can't even afford a JEP after the match is disappointing when you can usually afford 2 with credits left over.
