Alright, just started to dig my hands in here and after reading a few short guides I never found one with the answers im seeking...(Posting this here rather than toolset because I believe Console Commands and such for NPC's apply more here no?)

So if anyone can answer the following questions or post a guide where I can find them, would appreciate it.

On the DM mode I can only see zones in the current part of the act I'm in, for example MoTB up untill you have to exit the cave, needless to say I'd like to know how I can view (or get a full list or goto command) other zones? ex. go from Daegun's to act 3 in the original campaign.

Secondly, this is similar to the above, I wanted to spawn some specific npcs, but the general list doesn't have them, I can only view them in the creator while in the zone they are in (then obviously they disappear from the list right after I leave) I tried looking them up in the blueprints on the toolset but it didn't have their zone on the list either...? Some help would be appreciated...(Ex. how to spawn the faceless man or the elite guard from Llast port or some other specific npc that only appears in one zone.)

I don't know the answers you're looking for but i can say something to help get your head on straight(er)

"zone" is a relic from other games -- technically it's never used in NwN2. Instead, there are

a) area
B) module
c) campaign

A computer (server) can have only one module loaded at a time. Any resources used at runtime need to be available to that module ...

- for a DM to jump to an area in a different module, requires a script that unloads the current module and loads the new one ( taking everyone else along on the ride )

- there are many places where you can put a blueprint to make it available to a module -- in the module itself, in the module's campaign folder (if the module is part of a campaign, which is simply a grouping of related modules), or in MyDocs->Override. An NPC won't be available for spawn-in if, for example, its blueprint is in a different module; note that NPCs in a given area may not even have a blueprint but are pre-placed instances (from which a blueprint can be made prior to gametime)

On the whole, i Imagine that setting up a server for multi-player use with a DM requires a lot of forethought & organization ... including having a large notebook with as much as possible mapped out on paper
