Interesting. I always wondered whether I should pronounce it like the French would, but I think middle English is actually closer to Dutch in pronunciation which means it would be Pa-si-feen (unless c is pronounced as k). How would you pronounce it yourself?

My name.....translated.

Lotion = tolkien elven for my name (Toni) taken from the old root meaning in latin (flower or somesuch)
Soronnar = elven for Phoenix

My nickname/handle in a past life was "Daizycat", based on a slightly different version of one of my cat's names: Daisy.

The first part is a no-brainer - I'm generally pretty happy.

Then I realized how fun it would be to do a play on "Happy Days". I'm still surprised when people call me "Happy Diaz", though, like I have a fascination with Cameron Diaz. I guess I'm not the only lysdexic one here.

I got this name during the 30 hour famine, while playing Halo 2 all night.

I got really good with the sniper rifle, and every time I got a headshot I would laugh a little bit. Not out of blood lust but because lots of the other guys where annoying snots with kept going on about how l33t they are.

So one dude said "I hate it when he giggles like a a maniac" so I used this name ever since.

Kimosabe or Kemosabe is a made up word from the Lone Ranger meaning 'Trusted Scout" and/or "Faithfull Friend". I got this nickname years ago from a guy I met when playing the mmorpg Sword of the New World, we ended up playing a bunch of different games together and I often picked either a scout class or at least some ranged or hidden class. (Like Assassins in DA or Infiltrator in ME) In every game I scouted areas for clans/guild etc so he started calling me Kimosabe, I liked it as a word and the meaning so I started using it.
