Awesome! Based on the games I've played this year, I'd say this is well deserved. It's far from perfect, but Dragon Age has sucked me in in a way no game has in quite some time.

I disagree with this. I think Rocksteady deserved their award with Batman Arkham Asylum.

VGA is still a pathetic joke of a show. DA:O not nominated for game of the year is inexcusable. They even had AC2 and L4D2 in the nominations list, even though these two games were released AFTER DA:O. DA:O not nominated for best voice acting is a travesty.

The keyword here is NOMINATION folks. DA:O doesn't have to win them all, but it's a huge insult when it isn't even considered for the award in the categories it deserved.

any competition where a game win the title in his category and isn't in the game of the year category doesn't deserve the right to exist. Tell me how a game consider the best in rpg category isn't in the overall category?I understand it might not win but at least give it the nomination!

It's a pity that God of War 3 won over Mass Effect 2 for Most Anticipated game of next year.

I really think that was a bad choice for winner, there's sooo many great games coming out next year that are better than God of War.. :\\

Was hoping Demon's Souls personaly but glad Dragon Age got it for best RPG. I already knew it was gonna grab best PC game.
