But I feel change is inevitable, first sabotage, the Huntermode....
Actually I hope they buff it just really upset some people. That would be hilarious.

Can't believe this has become such a big deal. If you're mad an infiltrator is beating your score, get better. And in a co-op game, why do people make this into such a big deal?

One that affects almost everyone was changing the melee fitness tree as well as all of the melee stats. For most taking the bottom row of Fitness over the top row is a no brainer. So yeah.

You obviously aren't reading that thread then. Most don't want to lose damage. Just make only the first shot work for the extra damage and that the cooldown be uniform. Makes you have to choose between uber power damage or uber sniper damage.
Also, that petition want's shieldgate gone

Tired of this point... even SINGLE player games have been balanced throughout the ages. Can't have you running around as a demi-god unless it's meant to be done in the game.

But still, even if the damage bonus were higher, only melee builds would take melee damage over health so the change wouldn't really affect much.

You sir have made the best point all night, and I applaud you. Almost makes me change my mind, but meh. There are far more good poitns for things with TC that need to be fixed.. You are right that people will probably leave because of that, and that isn't good for the game either. So now really, it's a lose lose situation.
Leave the class op, but keep players, or fix the game and lose players... Damnit! I wish people weren't so misinformed and made rash decisions!

All those characters you mention get their shields and a couple of health bars shot off doing that, if they don't get killed thx to your infiltrator dumping his aggro on them. Mean while, the infiltrator is hiding on the other side of the map safe. It is UNFAIR to use the team as decoys.

Or grenades themselves. 4 players using grenade wielding classes can rush and obliterate spawns in seconds. Then perhaps BE's, with their ease of set up and detonation (no aim required, very short CD's and minimal exposure time from cover needed to "cast") and massive AOE damage. Vanguards, if they ever fix the bug/lag issue they are going to need looking at as well. Plenty of targets for nerf calls and once it starts, it never stops. Hopefully BioWare has the sense to balance the game as they see fit, as I suspect they will .

I feel obliged to point out that this and other comments like it I've been seeing is a Slippery Slope argument if it's used to justify the status quo.

The only thing I could possibly imagine changing is that the damage bonus should be exclusively applied to sniper rifles. Other than that, it's a great template for how other classes should be, and how Bioware ****ed up on actually making classes good at one thing by deciding you should be able to play any class any way ****tily.
