One thing I don't expect but would love will be DA3 on PC being a tactical strategy rather than a hack-and-slash. Leave that on consoles but let us PC gamers have that experience again. .
Due to limited time and resources, tactical combat for DA3 on the PC will now be as follows:

Consoles will receive this:

Again, it's only concerning if VO kills race selection.
Yeah, but it's still unpleasant to those who dislike having a voiced protagonist.

Which is why many wished Bioware would have developed a different IP for another type of game that wasn't Dragon Age. It seemed obvious that Hawk was going to be the face of Dragon Age in much the same way as Shepard was for Mass Effect. Why else would they make such a predetermined character?
When you're right, you're right.

Understandable. There is the law that the more your character acts without your input, the less that character is yourself. And voiced protagonist follows that law. Playing Skyrim, I'm completely immersed into my character as myself no matter what gender or race (male, Nord just in case you were wondering). With DA2, many times I sat back and watched to see what my character was going to say. This makes me feel more like the director of the story instead of a player.
Of course, if Mr. Laidlaw and company are bent on creating a voice protagonist, I wish they still keep the element of race options in mind when implementing it.

Hahahahahahaa.
But really, nah.... consoles could get the Fire Emblem style combat. Better yet would be the Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn style of tactical combat.

Which honestly, I wouldn't mind in some segments. I mean, not like where you no longer have a party-based game that DAO and DAII did, but if we were to say have naval combat then ship warfare could be done like Fire Emblem/Suikoden IV in terms of how you control the ship and animations to show how you're fighting (Archery, Mage powers, etc).

Then if you decide to board the ship, it goes into party based combat where you, your companions, and your crew fight against the crew of the enemy ship
