ITT: List your favorite weapon(s), a few reasons why, and any ways you would improve it
I'll start
I'd have to go with the Revenant. It's perfect for suppressing fire, and it also acts as a perfect cross between armor-piercers an shield-droppers. I can take out groups of small enemies in a matter of seconds with one sustained burst.
If I could improve it, I'd beef up the ROF and the accuracy, for more effective firing

I don't know for sure if it's my favorite but I'll say the Talon. If they replaced the scope with a smart choke there would be no doubt.

Talon - change the sound effect (the high frequency squeak in there is a little irritating).

The Vindicator. This thing was my baby through ME2 & ME3 and even here in MP until it was cruelly nerfed for no good reason. Is it really so bad to have a light, burst-fire AR with reasonable stats?
If I'd improve it I'd undo the nerf and give a bit more damage as an apology for the abuse it had to endure.

Valiant - Nothing except mo powah! Otherwise an absolutely flawless sniper. It's peanut butter and jelly, baby.

Harrier: Dear lord does it need more ammo.

Kishock - The last patch never happened.

Harrier... more ammo, a lot more... (double..)

Let me have a GPSMG with an AP mod, AP Gear, or alternatively, buff it's damage by another 10-20 percent.

Vindicator. Buff damage per shot for sure, increase magazine size and fire rate and we're all good.

Crusader
I love the built in penetration and high accuracy.
What i don't like is the weight and kick.

Crusader - weight reduction.

The N7 Valiant.
I would upgrade it by sliding the top bar on the gun selection screen a bit to the left, and all the others to the right. And give it innate armor piercing.

Revenant like op
But i'd only up its accuracy by 10% so others can start to hit something with it
Hm is almost mandatory to turn it into a god rifle
Else i'd buff most ar's
example:
Vindicator, drastically increased clip (36) and inburst rof (1200) aswell as minrefire (0.15), damage by 3 points, recoil stays the same and a little bit heavier, making it a hard to control but accurate and powerfull battle rifle
Also i'd love to see a laser sight mod for ar's, smg's and pistols (increasing accuracy and removes the crosshair^^ like the old phalanx)

Valiant.
-maybe armor piercing....not much needs to change on this weapon....for what it is, its perfect.

Claymore. Give it 20 rounds in the magazine, add penetration, give 100% DOT over 1 second, and 10m AOE.
Nah, it's perfect the way it is.
I do also love the Graal, but it's got weird lag issues. If an enemy is standing still or in stasis, a headshot should connect instead of totally missing. Otherwise, happy.

Valiant. It's fine as it is, except for the time it might take to get it to level 10. Assume it's the last N7 weapon you max out. That's 40 comm packs, or 80 weeks, provided victory packs do not contain N7 weapons in the future. I don't want to wait a1.5 years to get my beloved gun to level 10.
And bring back those headshot bonuses for boss enemies like banshees, primes, atlases, ravagers etc.

Arc pistol:
Regular reticule (instead of hip fire one)
Give a shock (incapacitates weaker enemy's for a few seconds) to charged shots.

Claymore. Maybe a little bit more accurate would be nice but it's balanced.

The Harrier, increase it's ammo from 100 to 200, because that thing runs through ammo like a nord runs through meed.

prothean beem rifle and for improvement put it in mp
all the whiners how say that NO protheans should survive are all un perceptive and stupid in my opinoin
the fact
-the prothean ruled the galacy a cycle ago
-they most likey numbered in the trilloins of people
-they had advanced wepeons
-they had advance tech like stasis pods
So after these facts the odds of a natoin that had trilloins of people spanning the galacy all being killed are extremly slim in fact in my opion there should be at LEAST a few hundred surviving in stasis across the galacy. So quit whining and except facts.

If I was going to balance Assault Rifles, I'd simply model them after how Assault Rifles work in real life.
- Give them a LOT more damage.(They're RIFLES!)
- Give them a LOT more recoil.(You don't just control all that power on full auto!)
- Give them alternative fire modes, switchable with the press of a button, including Single shot, triple shot and full auto.
- Give them a LOT more ROF.
By doing this, you make the Assault Rifle the most versatile weapon in the game. Ace of all but masters of none.
Single or triple shot can be used for medium ranges, whereas full auto can be employed in close quarters. High rate of fire means that you have to be careful however, because a slight miss can be the difference between mowing down the enemy instantly or standing there surrounded by foes with an unloaded weapon.
Full auto would also be impossible to aim with due to the recoil at longer distances, encouraging switching between semi auto and full auto.
They would also be heavier than pistols, but their firepower and utility would more than make up for the weight.
It wouldn't beat a Shotgun or Sniper at their respective roles, but it would be a powerful middle weapon, enabling you to quickly adopt to new combat situations becoming a versatile warrior capable of answering any challange with decent efficiency.
It also wouldn't gain any + damage from tactical cloak, to prevent the weapon from being balanced around infiltrators and thus weaker in the hands of everyone else.

Viper. More damage.
If I had a Valiant, I'd use that. But I don't. Still.
