I've been wanting to change my forum name for months now with no way of doing it.
in the end I've decided to go on a whim to delete this account and make a new one wiht a different name but the site wont even let me do that...

Bioware doesn't have support, they redirect to EA. In this case, EA says forum name changes are a Bioware issue and won't resolve it. I've had the run-around so far with this problem, myself.
What will really bake your noodle, later, is the numerous people that have contacted EA support early on and had it resolved with a please and a thank-you.
