I played ME1, Pinnacle station, ME2 and all DLC and I just finished Mass Effect 3.

Wow .. what an experience. I bought it on release but avoided all internet conversation about it until i had time to play. Played thru it in about a week (over 50 hours game play time completing all side missions). Let me tell you it was the most amazing experience I have ever had with a series the writing the story everything was epic. ME3 i felt was the perfect balance between ME1 and Me2 as far as rpg and gameplay is concerned. The whole game all your decisions from previous Mass Effects where brought up. the story was absolutely completely and totally awesome.

Mass Effect 3 was emotionally exhausting for me without going into spoilers .. I Laughed ... I Cryed ... I got Angry .. I had Regrets .. It made me re-examine some of my own believes. I was emotionally exhausted. Thank you Thank you Than you.

My only regret is i cant play them all again for the very first time.

Please give us more in this universe.

I both envy you and pity you at the same time.

I envy you because you enjoyed it so much.
I pity you because this is that you really don't play very many games if this is really the best ever.

And you know this how? I can state for the record that in my case that is false so it could be in his as well. i play many games and agree with his assertion.

I recommend going to this thread if you want to discuss that further.

Why in the world would I want to discuss that I believe like him that this was the best ever? I'd get torn apart there.

obviously, ^^
The term "best game ever" makes me for example think that you haven't played as many games yet.
Another possibility would be, that you found out a way to enjoy the game in a way the rest of the fans has yet to find out.
Maybe you have a special interest in the game that gives you so much joy, we would also like to hear about it. So don't be afraid to share your thoughts, haters gonna hate anyway ;)
Never mind!

Its cool that you liked it. Dont let others spoil it for you.

I enjoyed Mass Effect 3.

The only true bad parts were the end, some parts in the main quests, and the mission log.

Many thanks to BW for not only ME3 but for having the creative drive to produce this awesomely rich and diverse sandpit for us to dig into.

Looking forward to seeing how the ECDLC will play out. Many thanks as well for seeing how much fans had invested into the ME universe that you understood we needed to see how our actions impacted, beyond Shepard, on a galaxy of characters we have some to care about. It speaks volumes that BW has produced a game that has had such an effect on gamers that they care enough to want to know how it ends for everyone..........

Especially Tali, <cough> not that I'm playing favourites for the little elven princess.......<double cough> I mean admiral's daughter.

Sure you didn't hop onto a train into the land of "Make-Believe" when you made this post? I've never really known anyone to praise Pinnacle Station. And that you've bought all the DLC makes me question you're sanity just a tad. No offense intended. Though perhaps your post was intended to have lots of speculation from everyone?
;)

Well I will agree it was emotionally exhasuting. Just in a way that made me care less and not more I'm sorry to say.

Obviously this is the thank you thread, you both are responding incorrectly.
The other thread, as long as you can reasonably discuss how you feel, then it is a good place for discussion.
The only ones that get torn apart are trolls.

I wrote this earlier, but I think there is nothing wrong in repeating of the good words.

5 years ago Mass Effect has been special for me. Since that time, my attitude to the games has changed, I could not play in something less dramatic and exciting. Mass Effect was the ideal of game for me.

I was waiting for release Mass Effect 2 with bated breath. But when I finished 2, I felt mixed emotions. On the one hand, I learned a lot about the characters and the world, but on the other hand did not felt that was the main for me: I had no impression that I'm doing something significant. Throughout the game, we were solving the problem of the team, yes, they have become our friends. Now I do not regret it, but at the time I was waiting for another from second part. Music and story upset me.

I was waiting for the third part with some distrust. But from the beginning, my fears were dispelled. Everything from start to finish was exciting, dramatic and stunning. The moments that touch to the soul, music that makes cry. The only disappointment that I have not had the opportunity to continue my personal story, because I played Mass Effect 1 & 2 on PC, but am bought 3 for ps3 because my computer had a lot of issues with the previous games. I hope to be released DLC to take key decisions from the previous parts. Passed a whole era in my life and I will remember Mass Effect as one of the best moments in that.

Most of the Mass Effect trilogy, damn near all of it really, is awesome. I hope none of the devs lose sight of that. They delivered big-time on almost every front.

This whole its the journey not the destination crap is getting old and boring. Yes, the journey was amazing but the destination should have been an overwhelming culmination of all the experiences in the ME universe, not a collosal letdown and an underwhelming and confusing experience.

It is as if the writers of the ending were brought in as freelancers and had no idea of what occurred in the first 95% of the trilogy.

While I appreciate the journey the destination forces me to never go on the journey again and therefore any achievements that I missed I will never obtain.

Harbinger was all right in ME2, and I didn't see him in Arrival (I have no DLC at all). For me, he just didn't match up to Sovereign from ME1. Sovereign had a more awe-inspiring presence. Harbinger's lines, a lot of times, were hilarious... probably not the feeling I should be getting from a Reaper. His lines at the end of ME2 were good though.

Even rannoch reaper was more impresive than harbinger...
omg that epic voice

El_Chala_Legalizado ,slyguy200 , Cthulhu42 , and jreezy ....proof that typically if you start a thread/forum about how pleased you are with the game and aren't a forum ****...then you are going to face people who just want to be asses and be hateful. DeathlyCold, go ahead and be happy about the game. They failed to notice where you mention you stayed off the forums until you were done, you avoided this kind of BS until you finished. That's great and more than most people could say. Glad you enjoyed the entire franchise. glad you enjoyed it for what it was instead of what you think you can whine about it being, or they didn't write it how you would have. thank god that bioware did what they wanted instead of what those guys would have wanted..."the same old song and dance"

Its nice to see that so many others enjoyed the franchise as well and wanted to pass their sincere thanks along to Bioware and those that worked on the game.

on a side note:
It is quite amazing how many people try to derail a simple thank you thread. Imagine you are at work or school or a family gathering. You walk up and sincerely thank someone for the hard work they did. Someone standing in earshot then feels compelled to come over and attack you for thanking them and/or tell the other party that the work they did was in fact crap instead of just letting both parties enjoy the moment. I really did not think so many people were capable of this behavior. /end of rant.

So please if you do not wish to pass you thanks on to Bioware simply ignore this thread and post elsewhere.

I enjoyed the game, too. :) Just hated the last 10-15 minutes of it.
