Hey everyone I just recently got Mass Effect 3 and after installing it I noticed some problems. When I tried importing my character from ME2 the face was completely black and missing. I know about the original bug and have the patch for it but still my ME2 face is missing. Thats not all though, I tried making a brand new face in ME3 but all features aside from the default face are missing. When I tried playing with the default Shepard face I found that even some NPCs were missing faces. All the features and everything were just black. Does anyone know what might have caused this and if there is a way to fix this?

Have you tried uninstalling Mass Effect 3, and then reinstalling it? I'd personally reboot the PC before attempting the reinstall just for good measure. Usually a good place to start when you're experiencing oddball problems.
Edit: Also, make sure your video drivers are up to date. I'd try this first, then uninstall/reinstall ME 3 if there's no change.

I did all that already. It didn't work. I don't know what else to do.

It could be a shader issue. Have you tried updating your video card drivers?

Yeah, I'm completely up to date with all my drivers.

Perhaps you should start by posting a detailed list of what you have done to try to fix the issue. Having a bunch of us guess at things and then you shoot them down as having already tried (but failed to note anywhere) isn't helping anyone.

Sorry I got so caught up in frustration that the game wouldn't work that I had forgotten to make a list of what I had done. I apologize for that and do appreciate the help you offered. I managed to make it work after I last bumped this thread and played around with all the settings. Thanks for the help given up to now and again sorry for not being the most helpful person looking for help.

Are you able to document the steps you took to correct the problem you were having? I'm sure others will have the issue eventually. You might be saving someone else from the frustration that you experienced.
