Currently has a N7 ranking over 10,000. Personally I can't get over such a high ranking. Dude must either seriously love the game or is utterly obsessed on maintaining the top slot forever. Having a 2,000 plus point advantage over the number 2 guy certainly helps.

Still seems damn crazy to me to put that kinda time into ME 3 MP. Just my opinion.

Everyone has to be the best at something. Why not be the best at promoting in ME3 MP?

But yes, one would think you would burn out after awhile.

The dude on the Australian ladders is around 8k, I think. He's sitting a good 5k MORE than anyone else. Second comes in at 3.5k. Honestly, I don't think their scores are legit. There's no way someone could have an N7 ranking of 10k.

I noticed this back when they first broke 2k. Guy is probably throwing a lot of money at the store to get character cards between gold runs and hits promote the second something hits 20.

I've noticed many of the top spot players are doing FBWGG all day, most likely with other friends. A lot of them are not even all that great. I've played circles around people over 5k, and I'm just now around 2.1k. N7 hardly matters.

yea thats nutz, I play 3-4 hours a day (more on week ends) and have hit 6th in canada, so if we Tripple that (and I spend Cash on PSP) I would still only have a rank of 8k+
20k is whacked, legally that would be over 12 hours a day, I believe some ppl do it, but you would see more 20k+
all the guys in the 10k I know have no lives and live in granny's basement.

Funny this has been posted, I was just looking at his profile today, comparing acheivments. Has anyone else noticed that he hasn't finished the campaign yet? It seems as if he hasn't even played it AT ALL! How can someone love Mass Effect, yet not even play through the story, which is the heart and soul of all things Mass Effect, having a fantastic story*.

*99% of each game has been amazing. The 1% each that isn't good is comprised of the slow elevators in ME1, the mining in ME2, and the ending in ME3. 99% is still pretty darn good and worthy of replaying, at least to me.

1260 and I am the #1 in my country, but I don't care that because N7 rating is senseless.

Dominican Republic is my country :)

Maybe he just loves the MP then. Still he's nuts and has too much time on his hands.

They probably just play gold all day and save their credits till they promote everything, then buy their psp's. I dropped 2.5 mill credits the other day after promoting everything cept my engineer and got everything back up to 20 again, just from the character cards.

the fastest way is to promote your new lvl 20s then buy PSP, i'll even solo a few waves if I need a few points instead of playing a half hour and wasting the XP, saving credits works but you have to recheck your characters every time you buy a single pack to ensure you dont loose 250k

I Promote to help out my SP game which I no longer play lol!
I just want my lvl10 weaps!

Or ... one account ... several players in one house? Like 5 brothers? Let's say one is 15, two are 18 and 19, and we have an older set of brothers like 24 and 30? All playing at different times in a day.

i took up mp only about a month and a half ago and i am by absolutely no means 'hardcore' but i'm still sitting somehow on a n7 rating of 1200ish.

so actually i'm kind of surprised that the top scorer in the world who, presumably, started playing mp nonstop since the release only has a number around 10,000.

There's some pretty fishy ppl on the PC Leaderboard as of late. Not only the 20k guy (Come on, either he spent literally thousands of dollars on Packs or he flat out cheats - he went from 0 to 20k in the course of a single day and hasn't played since!). There are others, who do 300-point jumps in a matter of minutes. If they were playing the game, there would be at least a slow progression, where they level their characters through finishing rounds and then a big jump when they buy Packs with their saved credits. They only do big jumps, and to go up 300 points is - even with buying packs - not a small thing.

I think it's fair to say there are some rich people out there who don't mind spending 2-3 thousand dollars on packs to unlock everything and promote everything. If they decide to do that, then we get free dlc. Obviously those at the top of the leaderboards are legit or bioware would've done something about it. I'd say the higher up the ranks you are, you are more under scrutiny than those lower.

maybe he/she is under house arrest or bed-ridden, has really bad insomnia, is OCD and ME3 happens to be the only game they have...
