I haven't opened my packs, so I can't speak for the Valiant. Having played it in SP though, if it has the same DPS as the BW, I'll be very pleased.

The Raptor would be cool if it didn't sound like it shot pencils. Still, on console I'd rather have the crosshairs than the scope, although the Raptor and Indra are fairly distracting for me anyway. When I get the PC edition and get reacquainted with the uncommons I'll be sure to try it out again. I used to be a fan of the Viper too. Don't know why, but there it is.

EDIT: Opened my packs immediately after posting and got an N7 Valiant I and N7 Crusader I :D:D. I now have all four promos at level I.

Valiant, Raptor (it's fun to fire) and Crusader. Yes, Crusader with a smart choke. Very fun to headshot from across the map once you've lined up the + properly.

Can't comment on BW as I don't have it.

BW on infiltrators, valiant on anything else. Krysae if I'm soloing. Don't care for the rest. Indra is a frickin' pea-shooter.

Krysae (you have to admit that is pretty effectuve despite the problems it has).

But since i'm starting to use the other sniper rifles:
Widow (i have it at X)
Black widow (at I)
Valiant

For the moment these 3 are the only ones i'vre tried and i feel more confortable with the widow rather than with 3-shoots snipers. But I suppose i still have to work more on sniping XD

Krysae -> Indra -> Valiant. But I don't really use Sniper classes. Krysae's fun on the Turian though.

In terms of what I think is FUN to use.
1. Kishok (Harpooning things is fun man...)
2. Krysae (Exploding things is almost as fun man...)
3. Widow (One shotting things is nearly as fun as exploding things man...)

In terms of what I use when I'm doing something other than a bronze stompfest?
1. Widow ( My BW is rank1, My widow is considerably higher).
2. Javelin 3 (Nifty sound, fun damage, great laughs).
3. Krysae (AOE stagger on Gold, need I say more?)
4. Kishok (I harpoon things.. man)...

Those who didn't list the Valiant don't have one yet. It is by far the best sniper in the game. BW is second. It's not always about DPS. Speed and stability.

Having used only few snipe rifles (I don't have Javelin, Viper, Valiant&BW and haven't used Kishock, Mantis and Raptor much):

1. M-98 Widow - nothing beats the solid BOOM sound followed by the headshot sound
2. ... and that's pretty much it.

I hate to have to charge Kishock to get and actual shot out of it, Krysae is not even a sniper rifle because you can't mailslot-headshot guardians with it, Mantis sounds like a sissy and I haven't tried Raptor yet.

Two of my favorite guns are the Krissy and the Indra but, I don't consider them to be sniper rifles.

My favorite sniper rifles are the BW and Valiant.

I really dislike all single shot snipers, I find the Krysae to be horribly boring. I might enjoy the Indra if I ever get it to a decently high level, but right it's only level II and just horrible.

Mantis, mainly on casting class, specifically on Asari that have stasis, because I am a terrible sniper who can't score a head shot without.

Otherwise, the HARRRPOOON Gun when I am hosting/soloing against Cerberus, because shooting guardian with it is just so very amusing.
