Ignoring the crappy ending, how do you truthfully rate ME3?

It had awesome combat, but still felt like a demo all the time. If it wasn't for Liara, it would be worst one in entrie trilogy.

It's a 7.5/10 for me. Even without the weaksauce ending, it's the weakest entry in the trilogy for me, and i'll quickly list off my reasons:
1. Bad journal system
2. Auto Dialogue
3. Side quests reduced to boring eavesdropping scanning quests
4. Romance scenes for most characters are pitiful
5. Final mission is rushed and anticlimatic
6. Intro is rushed and sloppy
7. No exploration
8. No boss fight
9. A lot of choices didn't amount to anything
10. Too much emphasis on MP
11. Vent kid
12. Day 1 DLC
This is why I got a bit of a problem when people say the first 99% of the game is perfect.
This.

- Bugs! For a finished game there were (and still are) too many bugs!
- Rushed Mission Sequences (Intro and finale I'm looking at you!)
- Too much Auto-Dialogue, not enough Para/Ren dialogue options.
- Inexcusably weak story; even without the ending ME3's story was no where near as compelling as 1 or 2's.
- Weak Side-Quests (I'd like to be a little more than an eavesdropping system scanner, thanks!)
- Horrible Journal System (Possibly the worst I've seen in modern games)
- Pitiful romance plots.
- Major downgrade in exploration.
- Too much focus on Multiplayer.
- Multiplayer that isn't flesh out enough for the focus it receives.
Taken as a whole I'd give the game a 6.5/10. Great voice acting and beautiful graphics can't make up for the lack of story and lack of actual game content. If you cut out the scanning and eavesdropping quests the whole game is disappointingly short and unsatisfying.
On the whole I'd call it average, not good, certainly not great.

Same here except I would ass
13. Boring multiplayer
14. Gimmicky unlock system
15. Multiplayer is required for "best" ending
16. PC version has terrible Fov, textures, no chat or proper lobby
This would make it a 4/10 for me.

ME2: 8/10
ME3: 5/10
Problems:
1. Corny dialogue
2. Lack of dialogue RPG elements
3. No central direction becomes very very apparent
4. Boring squad characters besides Prothy the Prothean
5. Great combat ruined by poor enemy variety
6. MP mode strips away the non-combat flaws (I'd give MP an 8/10), making the SP appear much weaker in comparison
7. Rather silly romance (only Liara gets naked, some ME2 options sidelined, female shepard's rather excessive amount of female romance options over the series seems more like fanservice than equality - consider MM romances in comparison)
8. Fetchquests
9. Too many variables with no consequence (see also: central direction)
10. Completely pissing on TIM's character
11. Pointless War Assets - not enough to get best ending if you don't play MP, but you can rush through easy enough if you do play MP.
12. Lackluster introduction and final mission
etc. etc.

It's a shell of the first two games. Ya, some strong moments, but not enough to save the thing.

ME1: 85/100
ME2: 62/100
ME3: 74/100
Grading scale: 0 is terribad, 50 is average (academic "C" grade), 100 is flawless - no complaints or just neglible ones.

IF the game had an ending like ME1 tho?
it would be in the low 9/10 range...low because the game is still goddamn marred by awful autodialogue and moronic fechquests....aside for that it was a great game

Pretty much this plus an ending being only available if you play MP/or download an app.
Not a bad game at all for me, just the bottom of the series.

ME2: 87/100 | Removed alot of good elements from ME1 with RPG, but makes up for by having good side-quest objectives that actually gives the player some reward. Poor economy system however, and over-ambigiuously amount of squadmades that really don't all feel to fleshed out. Existing previous characters grow stronger and become more attached. Various amount of ending outcomes in this game as well based on the games outcome and performance. Previous game does not give much however, which is onfortunate except for maybe 1 or 2 occasions. Very solid soundtrack as well with good story-telling.
ME3: 92/100 | All outcomes of previous games comes together, multiple outcomes in various scenarios based on previous playthroughs and outcomes. The epic conclussion leads to speculating about the ending, and questions the player weither or not they paid attention to the game. Improved AI and UI is very good, strong RPG-elements from ME1 brought back, and very-good story-telling and genuially the best ME game out of all three. If you don't understand the ending, well you're the one to blame.
So many people are being bias and nostalgic.

Lol we "didnt understand the ending" and "all outcomes of the previous games come together". Explain the parts of the ending that the gaming community did not get, i dare you.Fingertrip wrote...
ME1: 81/100 | Tedious long-sessions at the Citadel, horrible UI, terrible AI, god-awful inventory system, mundane and pointless decision making with only 1 ending. Medicore shooting-elements. Strong story-line with good RPG-elements. Onfortunately only 1 ending.

7/10 gameplay (include many bugs, glitches and crappy AI)
8/10 engine (+1 for easy modification)
Overall for me 8,5/10

1. The crappy Journal
2. The awful fetchquests
3. The Day-One DLC controversy
4. The Diana Allers/Jessica Chobot controversy
a) Killing established characters off on Twitter
5. The excessive amount of Auto-Dialogue
6. Cerberus being a bigger threat than the Reapers
7. Priority: Thessia
8. Kai Leng
9. Tali's face (not a Tali-mancer, but that was lazy as hell)
10. The intro felt rushed
11. Multiplayer/EMS controversy
12. The Kid and Shepard's dreams
13. Harbinger reduced to a 10 second "cameo" even though he was pretty much an established character in Mass Effect 2.
13. Exploration is dead.
If it wasn't for Tuchanka and Ranoch, this game would get a 6/10, but Tuchanka and Rannoch is not the whole game, so meh. Even if the ending didn't exist, it'd still be the weakest of the three games in my eyes.
