i'm stuck at Connecting to EA Servers
what's going on? is there maintenance today or something? i can't even play single player right now.

I have the same problem. Before I even get to the main menu it's trying to connect to the EA servers but it seems to be in an endless loop or something. After taking this long, it should probably give a "failure to connect" message and put me at the main menu, but it doesn't. It just keeps trying and trying to connect in a perfect example of Einstein's definition of insanity(insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result) I can exit back to the XMB with the PS button on my controller, but it's extremely annoying that the game can't even tell that the server connection is not connecting.
