Ah nothing inspires negativity more than a positive opinion, u mad bro? Of course I would be lying if I said Mass Effect 3 was perfect however rather than lament the game for its negatives I would rather enjoy it for its positives which far outweigh the negatives, and after all is that not what this thread is about? Gripes about Tali's photoshopped face and Chobot are so petty it is pointless to pay them any attention and while the choices you make may not have a big effect on the ending they did have a far bigger impact on the journey making them far from irrelevant. As for the space magic the whole series is based on it so what did you expect?

@GTF: I'll bloody cheer up when I want to. You may call those things petty, but it's such things that indicate a change in mindset over at the studios. Anyway, I'm done discussing ME 3. This topic is about positivity and I got the feeling that keeping on replying to you will lead nowhere good anyway.

Anyway, does anyone else have suggestions on creating a more positive atmosphere on the boards?

How about enjoying games for what they are and not lamenting them for what they arent? Seriously that is where most of the negativity on these forums comes from, it is all well and good to talk about wanting to make the forums and the world a better place but what exactly are you guys doing about it? If you want to find the source of the negativity on these forums you need only look in a mirror.

Does this thread remind anyone else of that South Park episode where the hippies flood South Park? Talking about how they want to change the world but all they do is smoke pot and listen to music all day?

*sigh* Okay. I'll ask you a few questions. Is it so much to ask for a consistent story which doesn't have plotholes? Excuse me, but that's like the basis of every decent RPG. Is it so much to ask for choices which DO matter? Bioware told us many times that it was OUR story to begin with, right? That it was us who shaped the outcome of the galaxy's troubles? Well, a few differently coloured explosions certainly did away with that notion. I won't point out all the RP lies, as you can just as well search for them yourself or see them in people's signatures around here. Is it so much to ask for that people get a satisfying ending? With this, I don't mean a happy-bunny-rainbow-ending, but an ending that shows that for example, even though there have been heavy losses, Shepard and his crew will still have some hope for a better future, even though it might take ages to rebuild everything? This is starting to become an endless conversation. If you really, REALLY don't have the slightest notion of why people even are upset, go read through the ME 3 forums. We, the customers, don't need a damn mirror. It's companies like EAware who're holding their mirror and see nothing but a reflection of money and investments. The customer's out of the picture. The passion's thrown out of the window. All that still matters are profit and deadlines. So I highly suggest companies like EAware to clean their mirror, 'cus it's covered in a dusty layer of greed.
