I play human, geth, and salarian engineers on Gold all the time.  I don't know what the OP is on about.  Even solo'ed a few reapers rounds on Gold with a human engineer after the rest of the team wiped.  Gotta use full tech damage boosts though to do half-decent damage on Gold, but it can be done.

GE has greater CC and shield stripping. Overload is a BEAST.

Greater CC is going to be subjective in that regard. Proxxy mine can slow enemies as well as increasing damage against them. With the Kyrsae it's arguable that a GI could be a better CCer than a Overload spamming GE while also doing a lot more damage.

Chain overload can completely incapacitate up to 3 enemies at once while setting up tech bursts. An offensive turret can also CC. A GE with a Scorpion, Falcon, or Krysae could CC much better than a GI with a Krysae, although the infiltrator would do more damage. but that's the point of playing an infiltrator, after all.

I don't see how a GE with KY and overload chain is doing any more CC than a GI with KY since  You only need one or the other. once something is staggered with the KY it's not like you need to stagger it again with chain overload.

I assume that by KY you mean Krysae? If so, then yes, that is true. As a matter of personal preference, I tend to use the GPS on my GI, but that aside, the Krysae is a very good alternative.

Edit: herpderp, GI not GE. My GE uses either Harrier or Sabre.

It helps in those not so rare instances where you would want to lock down even larger groups of enemies, with multiple AoE powers/weapons.

Like upload/hack objectives.

Or rushing the entire enemy spawn.

WaffleCrab - That must have taken a lot of work. I do appreciate your effort. Really I do. You failed when you assumed your ME3 talent extended into different arenas. Like written English. And saying something coherent.

Not really, not much work involved. I never mentioned this had anything to do with my ME3 talent, but yours. English never was my native language and the others here dont seem to have a problem with it *cough* grammar:police: **** *cough*
The whole point of that collection of messages, you say one thing, then say something opposite, happened more than once. and even though you said you made a mistake, you kept troll/flame baiting which btw is against the rules. And i am pretty sure most of the people will see where i was going with your message collection (which were in order of appearance).

You do realize it's also against the rules for you, right?

havent troll baited or flame baited thus far. i have only been pointing out how you keep saying opposite things to your own prew. messages. and quoting your baits. also considering 4x **** can be any 4 letter word, its hardly a bait :P

I really have trouble understanding many of your posts because they're very poorly written.  First sentence I get.  Second and third sentences I have no idea.  Those may be the same sentence I'm not sure.  Last sentence I get, even though it's quite awkwardly presented.  It's that middle part I'm having trouble with...

Agreed. Pointing out
self-contradictions and outright hypocrisy demonstrated by the OP does
not a forum regulations violation make.

You're a moderator?

quoting/pointing out something you yourself did backwards does not constitute insulting or agravating reaction hence, it is not against the TOS. where as you keep on flame baiting and trolling, which is. By stating that, i was trying to give a friendly advice, It is your choice wether or not to heed it. If you have a problem with understanding what i am typing, clearly the problem is you, since no one else here seems to have a problem with it. I recommend the Basic English Grammar, Full Text. Written by Betty Schrampfer Azar We recommend it for our clients often when they are having difficulties reading the manuals shipped with the products they ordered, though that is a first of a 3 book series.

Ah, goodie. Otherwise, the thought of an invisible, highly-muscled machine equipped with a certain other sort of KY...

Oh dear.

It was the first thing I thought of.

But I blame it on the Lash thread.

I use my HE on gold quite often. On many occasions, I'm able to hold two banshees at bay with the drone, so it's a life-saver.

And drone + incinerate + overload makes for tech burst & fire explosion fun.

Here goes, someone might have seen this coming. But i think geth have the potential to transform to full androids within the lore of ME universe.

My turn to inb4 Data talks about being "fully functional and programmed in over-" ...actually, I think I should stop here.

Salarian engineer is outclassed by SI

and despite being used in your point QME is one of the two that isn't outclassed by there infilly partner in every way(the other being GE for healing turret) .

Fire explosions make the QME one of the best offensive classes in game.

QE,HE,SE<<<<QI,HI,SI

I have to respectfully disagree.  The decoy abilitie is god like when used right.  I'd take a SE over a SI in most occasions, but that all depends on the rest of the team composition.
