Some valid points have been raised on the previous page, but I'm not seeing anything that is supported by any dialog or cutscene within the game. We're almost never left to assume anything in ME. It's all typically very clearly explained. In this case we have no visible in-game evidence to support any of this. We're simply drawing assumptions that the multiplayer operations can somehow produce a better crucible and have the same positive impact on the way the entire trilogy ends without any in-game evidence to support it.

Vorcha are destined to be the pinnacle of galactic life everywhere. Promoting them brings the galaxy closer to that, hence the readiness being raised and the green path being unlocked.

Gavorn has a lot of tricks.

He defies all sense of logic.

He is god.

lol

I'm seeing two opposing viewpoints here. Either the Vorcha are the secret key towards unlocking the power of Space Magic :wizard:, or they are smarter than Shepard because they can see it is merely one of Gavorn's tricks.

I'm gonna have to think on that one. :D

I don't think the "N7 Special Ops" guys are referenced in (SP)-game at all aside from an email and a number. That may be why it is difficult to determine what role they play.

Incidentally, can't you promote x number of vorchas, acquire the smallest amount of EMS possible, and affect how the initial space battle happens before Shepard even gets off the Normandy, off of Steeeeeve's shuttle, and is dropped off on Earth? If so, can anything (IT included) account for that?

The only story related thing that could account for it is the fringe theory that the entire sequence from Cronos station all the way up to the ending has "waking dream" hallucinations creeping into it. Those hallucinations are then influenced by the EMS, which is actually more a representation of Shepard's willpower than anything else. The tangible war assets are converted to a numeric value that indicates how good Shepard feels their chances are.

So it's basically those two theories put together. Not sure if there is anything else to explain it without resorting to gameplay-related justification.

Bioware confirmed that the endings were intended to be dreamy and confusing. So, make of that what you will.

Really? When?

Hmm...

Maybe because seeing that even the Vorcha joined with Shepard under a single galactic banner, the Catalyst was forced to agree that perhaps the galaxy IS ready for Synthesis?

Also, Hellish, you're point is valid. Vorcha make for odd EMS, to add to the Cruicible progress.

That vorcha character helped fend off 17 reaper capital ships with a thresher maw cannon whilst flying in a jetpack in space, and died doing so. Because of his noble sacrifice the crucible took far less damage and was able to operate correctly with all 3 options available.
I don't see how you don't understand that.
