You know the days. You want to just try out something stupid. You go into bronze to do it because you don't want to screw up someone's more serious match? You want to get a feel for the mechanics of something before making an ass of yourself in a hard match, right?

I cannot tell you the number of times I've been dumped into FBWGG on my first game trying out something stupid (like the Eagle or another stupid weapon I've unlocked) with Random/Bronze selected since the patch. I know it's annoying to the players in the game because when a player comes in there is lag. So when I finally finish loading I can check what game I'm in, but I can't if I spawn in the middle of a **** storm, which also seems to be typical -- let's spawn her in the enemy spawn! I'll do the best I can with what I've got and I'll probaly be thinking WTF? that trooper should have died. I'll bet I'm in gold. Okay so I'll get a couple of kills then go down in the middle of a pack of the enemy.

So I die. I can check the game. Oh. It's gold again. Leave match. More lag for the players in the game because you left so that someone who actually selected gold could enter.

Please fix this. Your serious Gold players will thank you.

Not only that. Those who are just messing around will thank you as well.

Totally agree. I'm sick of being dumped into a gold match when I was looking for bronze or silver.

This happens to me repeatedly and just happened again. I always like to play a bronze match to "warm up", but I just got dumped into wave 9 silver on Thessia (which I'm not entirely familiar with yet) right in the middle of 3 phantoms. Everybody died instantly and I used my weapon and ammo mods for nothing. Games are supposed to be fun, and this was of the suck.

Hasn't happened to me yet, but if I was messing around with builds / low levels, etc. and got dumped into a Gold Game, I'd probably just leave right away, and open that spot to someone who's equipped for Gold.

The randomness is also why I equip mods in the lobby beforehand, so they don't get wasted in situations such as those.

i use to do that too untill i reallised that hey im using up comsumeables when i leave that compleatly random gold i didnt want to play in.  players should be able to lock out at least one may be two maps and one difculity ( personally tired of seeing FBW and FB Condor and any gold match) gold is way too stressful i bronze and sliver is all ill ever play unless weekend event demands gold........

The game dumps you into a match that you didn't search for if it couldn't find any games that matched you.
If you don't like it, just make your own game. Cause if they 'fixed it', we'd only hear ****ing about 'IT NEVER FINDS GAMES I WANT!'.
Just make your own game. No lag, no FBWGG, no problems.

@ Corain: That's what I was saying. Paticle I believe was saying NOT to equip anything when you search for a random game. You can quit if you get dumped into a match you don't want and you can do your equipment in the lobby if you get put there. Addressed my griping very nicely.

@Mgamerz: Also a valid point. I believe however that you left out an asterix.

 For me, if I'm ever exepericing with something new, I just start up a solo bronze match. After playing Gold so much, you'll find a solo bronze with a lvl 20 isn't so bad. It's a really good way to test out things.
