Okay, I'm feeling like an idiot here because I'm not grasping how to use Pain's Monster Pack with the toolset. I want to start with the Hobgoblin from the Races of Faerun set, so I plunk that hak pack down in the hak folder. I looked for a Hobgoblin appearance but saw nothing. There doesn't appear to be a corresponding template in the CreaturesUTP folder and adding in the appearance hak didn't help either. Do I need to used the linked appearance.2da file? The text implies that I don't need to do that.

Pain has made a module system.

From my understanting most of the HAKs include the models, animation and what not to make the creatures. So you can add a HAK, RWS or BouncyRock and only get the material that you want. You have to make sure that you have his appearance.2da as well, it isn't in each HAK. It can go into the override or be put into your main HAK.

Also once you have the HAKs and 2da all set Pain's project is mainly about appearances, not blueprints. He does have some blueprints that can be downloaded but they don't supply a blueprint for all the appearances.

Okay, thanks for the clarification.
