[Quaxo]

This is a stand-alone module based on the Chinese classic "Water Margin" (水浒传). The story has been translated into English several times (All Men Are Brothers, Outlaws of the Marsh, The Marshes of Mount Liang) as well as Japanese (Suikoden) and also adapted for TV and film. It's the same story that the Konami game Suikoden for Playstation was based on, but Konami's Suikoden story is unique to their game and is very different from the original book. There is no plan for this module to adapt any part of that particular story or its characters.

At the moment, the plan is to center around the story around Song Jiang, whom the player will take the role of. Song Jiang is a magistrate's clerk with a reputation of being generous and helping those in need selflessly. Song Jiang assists Chao Gai and some friends in escaping capture by constables. When his involvement is finally discovered, Song Jiang must flee his home and begin his life on the run...

I am still considering whether or not to have voice-overs for this project, which will be decided when a core team is assemble and if we find it feasible.
