Ok, that might not sound right?  What I mean is, do you play MP with someone else in the same house as you?  Yeah, that's...right.

My hubby and I both brought ME3 (after my exessive moaning he get it coz Mass Effect is awesome :P) so we could play the multiplayer together.  He's an old-timer with online FPS games and such so I needed somebody to train me on how these things work.  My computer is in the lounge and his is in the gaming room about 10 feet away, close enough that we don't need mics to talk to eachother.  We just yell.

My question is, do you have someone in the same house as you that you MP with?  And on a broader note, do you troll them?  He and I troll eachother all the time, especially stealing kills or leading the baddies to eachother.  It's all in good fun, and I'd never do it in a proper game.  (We usually just play bronze or maybe silver if we want to be dicks to eachother).  It can get pretty loud in our place when we're screaming at eachother to eff off, lmao.  Again, all in fun.  Never go to bed angry.

How nice of you to say that.

And yes OP. My roommate and I play our own Xbox. We literally sit back to back and play, sometimes the same game, sometimes different games. Always a good time though, we rarely get angry (or at least he doesn't since he's stoned 24/7).

There are two palyers in our house. My son and play together on MP. This is my first MP experience ever. My son taught me how to play. We do silver and gold matches. Btw I am 57 and his mother, but don't tell anybody. hahaha

Ultimate troll strategy: Play Salarian engineer and keep placing your Decoy on top of him. Especially effective when playing against Geth.

Enjoy your 12 rockets and 20 pulse cannon blasts!

My boyfriend and I share the same Xbox LIVE account. It causes some confusion for randoms when he's playing, is doing well, then I go on and suck a** at the game.

He gets mad at me cause I go through his consumables so fast. :3

My husband and I play ME3 MP in the same room on desks that are pretty much side-by-side. While we dont troll each other, we do sometimes mess with each other's kills. We usually play as a unit and run around together. It's a blast.

Ohh, that's a sticky situation lol.  I've seen vids on youtube where this has gone horribly wrong.  (hillarious, but still; it's just a game lol)  Whereas I have my hubby telling me to play his guy while he's at work to get his credits up, lol.

My brother and I play in the same house and we do the same exact thing. Troll each other like crazy :P Always a good time. We also work really well together when we want to

Edit [story] Once we were playing together and I was GI witha GPS and I kept finding where he was at and just come up next to him, just so he could see me out of the corner of his screen and start shooting. Worked everytime and was hilarious. It was just a casual geth silver game

Thumbs up :D

Granted we play like eggs most of the time, there are times where play straight and become a unit also.  This usually happens on glacier (since it's a nice small map and we know where the spawn sites are), so it's run and gun for 10 minutes for a quick buck before getting back to being eggs.

Nah, I'm the only serious gamer in my place.

Still let my GF borrow the box when she's desperate to play the next fantasy based game.

If it's got any serious combat in it though she makes me do it. I end up slaughtering everything in a 500 meter radius before handing it back to her. NPC's probably look at her character and go "Bi-polar much?"

No one else in my house has a computer good enough to play ME3 smoothly.

We'd play on the Xbox, but I don't feel like buying ME3 again.

I bought an extra Xbox for my hubby for our anniversary to get him to play ME3 with me. It didn't last long before he started using it for Forza -_-'

How nice are you to buy him his own xbox!

Every time my hubby upgrades his computer, he gives me his hand-me-downs, that's the best I get :P  But as with yours: I set up origin, purchased ME3 and set up his BSN to keep track of his manifest, just so he could play the MP with me.  Granted, he does but then leaves me high and dry most times so he go back and play World of Tanks.

I mean, seriously?  WoT?  I've seen it... it looks boring.  ME/MP is much more fun.  Thank jeebus he hates car games...

4 dormmates and I (yes 5 ppl I know) play MP together. Usually only about 3 or 4 of us are available at any given time due to studies (goddamn high-end work-heavy college). Pretty good, even though 3 of them are really low level and whatnot.

I'm the only gamer in my home, but I'm good friends with three folks who do play from the same house - a married couple and one of their roommates (who's also married, but his wife doesn't play online games).

I've often been the fourth player on their team, so I get to observe this dynamic from the outside. And yeah, there's a definite dynamic of mutual trolling there - killstealing, mock trash-talk, so on.

What I notice is that I'm generally left out of it - none of them will get on my case for a stupid death like walking in front of a turret, or do things like deliberately sniping my biotic combo setups. It's purely within the group.

Haha well I should've known better to be honest. It's pretty sad when I'm sitting in the living room, playing ME3 with friends and my mic is picking up the sound of Forza from our bedroom... But when he was playing ME3 with us, he was using the headset that came with the Xbox and it wouldn't pick up what he was saying half the time. I felt like I had to yell at him to speak up so everyone could hear him, forgetting he could hear me over my own mic. Same-house gamers can get awkward in lobbies, that's for sure!

Seriously?? You and your hubby sound EXACTLY like us!! I get the hand-me-downs (he gets the perks for being the one who puts them together, etc).  I was the one who got us into ME and DAO.  He actually gave up on ME3 MP faster than I did to go play WOT, Diablo.   And he hates car games as well.  I'm wondering if your hubby is a twin of mine or something.  Very spooky LOL!

I've been trying to get into Left 4 Dead 2 with him.  For some reason, I don't like it as much as ME3.

Edit:  We did UO, Everquest, WoW etc together as well.  SWTOR for a little bit too.

see this would have been nice, when I met my GF she walked into my buddies gaming room while I was playing OFP and sat on my lap and said "let me check my email".

I'm not allowed to game, and eat spicy food when she's around - 10 years laters

nothing has changed....

can we trade?

I'll throw in a Javelin X
