If BioWare does a character related DLC I would will love to see Brand New Squad character or side character not Mass Effect 2 or 3 Squad Characters kinda.

I will love to see New Alien Characters, a Female Alien character would be cool from one of the Species or Aria, Shiala. That be pretty cool or playing another Character in a DLC.

What do the rest of you think, would like to see?

I'm honestly not interested in another Human character unless its good. I prefer more Alien characters, a Female character we don't have that many only Beloved Liara and Tali we have. :)

Second. This a Mass Effect 3 Topic about New Charscters, Charscters that never were in the squad. This not a Mass Effect 2 Topic so get off, you can talk about it but it not a ME2 Topic.

Stay on Topic, if not you will be reported!! No Trolling here.

Maybe not a squadmate, but Solana, Garrus' sister (From the LOTSB terminal), would be cool for a cameo appearance.

A new Alien character be great, I prefer female mainly. I also will love to see a Shiala DLC, as a suadmember or something. That be cool.

Also they could let us play as other character or just a new Mission, Story-Related.

I don't think Shiala would work, since, She sends you a message saying she hears the reapers in her head and that the only thing keeping her from losing control is being connected to the Feros colonist. [Assuming]She has to be close to the colonist to keep from losing control and becoming out right indoctrinated.

I don't want a new full time party member until we can get some stronger character interaction for the ones that we do have, as in more Normandy cutscene conversations with options, rather than some new non-interactactive comments.

A one-mission party member, like Liara was in LotSB, though wouldn't be that bad, particularly a Shiala on Feros mission, uncovering more about the thorian, maybe trying to find some way to synthesize its ability to counter indoctrination. But putting in a new full time squadmate when the Normandy crew doesn't really talk with Shepard, just at Shepard, strikes me as effort focused in the wrong direction.

/\\ This. Making new characters should be less of a priotity than fixing the ones they broke. Not that I would mind a one mission party member, or even a new squadmate , it's just that I think the ones we already had were good enough, until it was decided that some of them weren't worth any effort in ME3. JMO, anyway.

I don't think that would work either, because it would only work if you were paragon. Samara says herself "I hope we do not meet again once my oath is served. I will be forced to try to kill you." <--- Dialogue when you are renegade. I am not sure how Shepard would convince her to join him again. Lmao

I think Aria will become a part time squad member in future DLC. I don't think we have heard the last of Omega and Afterlife. ;D

But personally? I want Miranda back, I don't see why she can't become a squad member after her mission in 3. And I won't say more, since I am not sure if Spoilers are allowed.

It's not that I don't want new characters per say, it's that this is the third game! There are already so many characters I care about who are only sparsly in the game! Off the top of my drunk head:
Miranda (Seriously!)
Katsumi
Zaeed
Jack
Samara
Miranda (Seriously! ME2 outsold ME1 and she was the star squadmate! Expand her presence already!)

And that's ignoring Thane, Mordin, Wrex, and Legion because they had pretty important plot storylines.

These are the characters I care about. These are the characters I want to spend $8 on to get more of. I don't want some new character I don't care about. I want these characters! Hell, even expand Ash/Kaiden! Let Ash out of her room! I'll pay you money!

No to new Squad members, we have plenty from ME2 to bring back as squad members.

Out of all three games this is the only one that sheapard has not had a full time krogan on his ship. Sure he temporarily had Wrex at one point and Grunt in another but not a full fledged member on the ship. Plus I hate what they did to the interrior of the normandy. That security check point is useless and it looks way too cluttered, like a tornado ran rampant through the ship. Whats the point of all the exposed wires come on. And I think a Drell party member would be cool. One kinda like Thane but not, maybe even a female version of him. I can come up with ideas all day but I also agree with everyone they need to fix the conversations with the crew he already has. Miranda would of ben great and Samara, I think that joining forces to battle a greater evil would be enough inspiration for her. They Could even throw in a vorcha or even one of the cerberus Pheonix Project guys in there. There Is alot of stuff they could've done but didn't. I could literally go on and on but Im gonna stop here.

@Krukow - Agreed, but, *coughTHANEcough* Sorry, I seem to have a Drell in my throat....

Even if they still kill him off (only LI in a BW game to die without a choice and it's MINE!?) more content would be appreciated, and for Gods sake, have Shep show some bloody emotion during his death scene!

And Jacob, poor bastard didn't deserve to be written that way.

I hated Jacob after I saw what happened to his romance. My god, they totally screwed his character up. He was so loyal in 2 and in 3 they make him out to be a sleeze bag.

Instead of making new characters Bioware needs to fix the damage that they done to the Characters from Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 and I believe it is a must do because its one of the key issues with Mass Effect 3 several Issues such as these characters and their pathetic Romance Arcs and being basically made unimportant.

Characters that need more Content
Ashley Williams
Miranda Lawson
Jack
Samara
Kelly Chambers

And the reason I didn't mention Thane is because sadly I believe he was destined to die in Mass Effect 3 and then there is Jacob that whole thing is just stupid and completely ooc for him.

Now I have nothing against adding new characters but first they need to fix the other characters first.

Also how about making Vega & Joker Romance options for Fem Shepard seriously she has a total of 2 Male Options those being Garrus & Kaiden and both can die in Mass Effect & Mass Effect 2 not includeing Thane & Jacob and their destroyed Romances.

Well then because you play as ren Shep you end up having to fight Samara as a boss fight alone no squad mates and no lame Wrex C-Sec Virmire crap. You chose to play as Ren, so I chose to play as Paragon, it can be different depending on your actions. Samara as squad mate and LI or BW and EA forgo any further money of mine it stays in my wallet.

@Gears: I would have been sad, I love Samara too much to be forced to kill her. I personally played as Paragon as well. Renegade in 2 was just Shepard being a straight ass. I just played renegade one time to see how characters would react.

But the idea is cool, I actually loaded a renegade shep to see if you would have to fight her. Which I couldn't play because I couldn't side against Wrex, does anyone happen to know?

@gears: I honestly hated how they handled Samara in Mass Effect 3 just like all the other Mass Effect 2 Characters Bioware wanted to essentially kill them all off in the name of drama or something.

I wish they would have made it so we could have chosen our squad because I know that I would have replaced Liara with Samara ASAP

I enjoyed Samara's arc in ME3. I thought it was really interesting how her code came into conflict with her love for her daughters and the results of this. Plus, you could easily save her if you're a paragon.

The problem with Samara (as with all other ME2 characters, sigh...) is that she's barely in it. Another awesome character sidelined so I could watch Freddy Prinz do pullups and gawk at Edi's cameltoe...

Didn't they originally say they were going to make it similar to what Bobz was saying? Like you could do a mission to unlock that squad member, then you could trade them out?

@scotty: I find being Renegade seems a little boring in my opinion in all three games which is why I always end up playing Paragon.

@kru: Don't get me wrong I enjoyed her story arc alot about her daughters and all that but I hated how bioware treated her and all the Mass Effect 2 Characters killing them off at every chance they got I just wish we had the ability to had chose our Squad.

I haven't got the grudge about Vega that everyone seems to have I like the Character but I don't like that they wasted a spot on EDI why not Legion or Grunt or hell anybody from Mass Effect 2.

@scotty: I think they originally where going to give you a few Perm Squadmembers and make the rest temp Squadmembers that you could make Perm by your choice. But more thing's came up like adding Multiplayer and making massive cuts to the story and characters until they just relegated them to the pitiful state their in now.

@Bob: Multiplayer is fun and I enjoy it alot, but they could have easily added that later. They are constantly making changes to it now, so it tells you how easy it is to do stuff like that. They should have focused on the main game when it counted and I am disappointed in how they treated the main campaign. D:

@scotty: I agree Multiplayer is fun and honestly it's the only reason I play the game anymore I'm sorry if I sounded angry I'm not I enjoy Multiplayer alot but the Singleplayer Campaign is a major dissapointment compared to Mass Effect & Mass Effect 2.

No.

The ME2 crew got shafted horribly, they deserve some time in the limelight.
