I've NEVER played a game with a WORSE ending than ME3.


So every game I'm ever played has a better ending.

Pretty much every game I have ever played has a better ending!

Even the new Ghost Recon FS which ended abruptly and had no plot at all had a better ending.

And I'm serious. In fact, I love Fable 2 and I really like DA2. 

Also, Borderlands. That might have had a completely anti-climatic ending... But considering the nature of the game it almost fit.

Saboteur [I like the

Uncharted 1 2 3 [now my favorite ongoing franchise]

Gears of War 1 and 2 haven't gotten 3 yet.
Saint's Row
Final Fantasy XIII.... that was an overall bad game, so the bad ending is just par with the rest of the experience.
Tekken games....
They're all better endings than ME3.

Halo 3's wasn't bad, even though I didn't like the last 2 levels (they seemed rushed and weren't very long at all compared to the previous levels).

Despite what people say, I don't mind Gears of War 3's ending. When you think about it the COG are basically just an army of renegade Shepards, so it was obvious that we were going to get a bitter-sweet ending.

And even though I didn't like the game itself, I think Ubisoft did a good job with Assassin's Creed Revelations' ending.

GTA IV's wasn't bad either. Then there was Bioshock, Brutal Legend, Batman Arkham City, Oblivion, Skyrim and Fallout 3 (with Broken Steel).

Then you have Bioware's own Mass Effect 1 and 2 and Dragon Age Origins.

As a serious reply, Red Dead Redemption and Dragon Age Origins had truly satisfying endings that felt like they wrapped everything up nicely, fit the tone of the game, and left the player feeling like it was the end of the journey. The best endings for games that I can think of are actually ME1 and ME2, I felt like I had truly accomplished something epic. What's missing from ME3's ending is that sense of finality and accomplishment.

The list of games with better endings is too long, games with worse endings would be a shorter list.

Didn't like:

-KOTOR 2
-Rainbow Six Vegas 2
-TOR (Trooper's story)
-The Force Unleashed 2
-Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Those are the only ones that comes to mind that I find WORSE than Mass Effect 2.

I'm not including games like Mario in which I couldn't care less about the dumb story (and they don't even need a story). If I included these games, the list would be longer.

But for not liking ME3's ending nor the Trooper's story (TOR), Bioware has also given me stories that I find very enjoyable: ME1, ME2, Jade Empire (loved the story, gameplay was a little too simple) and KOTOR.

Actually ME3's ok ending has lots of games to go into the basket with it I can make lots of games that had endings no worse then 3's like:

Jade Empire
Assassins Creed  the entire sereis
Metal Gear
Fable series
KOA: the Reckoning

Games that have endings less confusing then ME3s

Fatal Frame 2
Dues Ex: HR

Games that have worse endings then ME3

I can't think of any game right now that made me less satisfied than ME3 did. Heck the old NES games that ended with "You are a winner!" or "You Won!" or "The End" were more satisfying.

Planscape Torment is how you do a bittersweet ending. Heck it kind of even swings toward a somewhat happy ending if you romanced Fall-From-Grace because she vows to go to hell and find you.
