Which cameo of all the former palls was the least impressive one for you?
I say Zaeed got the worst one.
Unfortunately, I really love this old bugger, but his mission was so shallow and forgetable.
I'm really sad that they've cut out what was originally planed for him.
Your opinion?

Probably Jacob. His presence doesn't really add anything to the mission, it's more just saying "Hey, look, remember this guy?"

But at least Jacob had his on real mission, and he saved Shepard in the endscene.
Zaeed did absolutely nothing (onscreen at least).
Besides dieing, if he wasn't loyal.

Zaeed got the worst treatment as he is just a very cheap 5 second death for me...

If you romanced Jacob, then Jacob. Due to the kick in the teeth.
But other then that, Kal'Reegar. Email Cameo/Off screen Death >_>

Morinth for sure.
Though Samara did say "You'll regret this!" (or something like that) when one chose Morinth over her. After seeing Morinth in ME3... Words cannot express how huge of a let down it was.
Now, I'll always make sure Samara lives and Morinth dies. No choice here.

Morinth, Zaeed, Jacob (if romanced that is), then the "unseen" cameos...Wong, Kal'Reegar and that one Asari chick who became indoctrinated, forget her name.

Hopfully saving him will be DLC or something, I was quiet suprised that not even Tali talked about his death, instead got drunk and talked about Maranda

The thing with Reegar sucked, but he (unfortunately) wasn't a former mate.

Romanced Jacob is the worst. If not, then Zaeed or Kasumi.

Probably Jacob. His mission doesn't actually change much at all if he's not there, which means he doesn't have much traction in it. The replacement character they have in place in case he died in ME2 (one of the Cerberus scientists) does pretty much all of the same things he does, even down to saving Shepard at the end. The scientist guy doesn't even die or get hurt or anything, which, I mean...you'd think they'd have Jacob, who is an experienced soldier and biotic and whatnot, at least fare a little bit better than some lab guy in that kind of situation, but I guess not.

Jacob and Thane. Also Morinth, one of the biggest insult of the game.

All of the above.
Others: Shiala. ME2 built intrigue, promise and potential for her then in ME3 you get some email basically saying 'oh she's fighting on Feros and she and the colonists can like read each other thoughts, isn't that interesting?' and that's your lot.

Legion, if you sold him to Cerberus.

Jacob or Thane.
Not sure if their VA's pissed off Bioware or something, but DAMN. They got shafted.
Honorable mention for Zaeed.

I hated what they did with Morinth. I only ever had one ME2 save where I chose her (love Samara), but I think she was a huge missed opportunity. Throughout the whole trilogy, she's the only squadmate who's truly renegade(/evil, depending on how you look at it). They could have done really interesting things with her, from a development perspective.

It's hard just to pick one, I felt all of the cameos were deeply lacking-Kasumi, Jacob, Thane, Zaeed, Legion. Miranda, Grunt, and Samara had a few moments of onscreen goodness, still disappointing that we only got to see so little of them. Weakest overall might be Zaeed or Legion.

This, this, all of this. I'd rather they'd forgotten him completely, and just left him out of ME3.

Zaeed IMO. Morinth too, but I'd blame ME2 for that. Samara's LM gave you 0 reason to rationally recruit her.
The first leaked script on ME3 had Zaeed working for Cerberus, and Shepard had to either convince him that he is on the wrong side or kill him. That was a lot more interesting. It would be the first time you'd see someone actually turn their back on the player.

Shiala and Kal Reegar. I really wanted them both as some sort of team mates in ME3.
