I don't run into this a lot but it is enough to be annoying I get the youger players who are all about running, gunning, swearing, and denigrating the reputation of everyone's mother because they outscored you.  The other type are the obviously under 12 player who is chatting about all kinds of other topics and telling me how to play better.

I just would like to play with people who respect the game and their team mates.

Age is not the only factor but I have found a number of players on other games in my age category and it is much more enjoyable to have a team like that.

Oh, by the way, my age category is over 40.  I suppose over 30 is okay though as I am sure many people started this game(ME1) in High School or College and are now probably near 30.

EDIT = I was accused alter in this thread of ranting in an immature way here.  I apologize if you may se this in that way. 

I see from all the replies that there are a lot of mature players n this game.  I hope to make a few friends from some friend requests. 

There are a lot of ps3 and PC players  replying here as well.

It obviously your choice who to play with but I've played with some really cool and laid back players who are almost definitely under 30 and some pricks that were probably over 30. Just friend request people if you like playing with them.

28 here and my fingers are ruined from consoles and 90s tiny gamepads with sharp edge buttons.

I play with younger players since they make up for my burnt out failure.

Just wish my gamer skills had increased apace with my age--but they seem to have gone the way of my memory instead.

I don't think I've run across any other older gamers online (at least none that were using a mic).

I've been pretty fortunate to not have run across any (vocally) obnoxious types in this game. I think Mass Effect tends to draw a more mature crowd (regardless of age).

I'm 36 but most of the group I play with are 23 and under mostly cause they're so stupid they're funny they keep me entertained. But you can find younger people in the game that are very respectful. I have two brothers on my friends list that I would say by listening to them are between 14-18 and the act more mature then some of the older guys that play they don't curse and holler like idiots and they take commands if I tell them we should hold here for a second and draw fire ( to help a squad mate finish objective) they do it. I think you just need to watch when you are playing and add people that play and interact to the style that you like. Good luck out there cause we are in a young mans world

I'm 29? But i''m married with two kids... so adjusted age closer to late 30s hahah? At least that's how i feel at work with all my late twenties early thirties bachelor coworkers

Go ahead and add me if you like XBL: ErrorTagUnknown. I'm prone to rambling, but i don't see the point in getting pissed and raging over a game where, at least I, am doing it to relax and have fun when i'm not working or raising my children. I may swear, if you have a problem with that, but not at the other players...

And i will agree -- i've run into games with alot of younger folks (mid to late teens) who are surprisingly mature, friendly, and respectful.... They are mostly NOT in the US oddly enough (not really that odd i suppose)

Actually - the other day i was thinking about starting a players group on here called "old as hell" or something like that for all of us 25+ and beyond (i suppose 25+ by definition includes "beyond") and people who we wouldn't know if they never told us (i.e. act and sound like adults)...

(caveat - not saying that 25+ or even 29 (my age) is "old as hell" but the idea was that when i was 15 that's generally how i thought of anyone over 25...)

Over 40 here, on xbox. As for younger players, they think like they drive for the most part.

24 here. I'm a teamplayer, tho random matches have alot of people who run off to kill enemies, then die horribly without support...

Sometimes these rushers also get me killed during match...

Also making posts suggesting changes to characters, if I find it all too easy to use compared to other character struggles...

I'm only 25, but I get what you mean, OP. The amount of kids and "ub3r 1337 pr0z" out there can get frustrating and has had me looking for a more mature crowd to play with as well. My GT is in my sig (don't judge me based on it ) if you're still looking for people to play with.

If that's the case, then I'm -87 right now.

Though I did just turn -86. I don't think I'd describe myself as mature (I like the Kyrsae for big explodies, for instance), but well, this almost applies.

(XBL and Origin ID are the same as my user ID here. I'm consistent.)
