I have to say that I have played many, many RPGs developed in the East and the West. I've come to appreciate the taste of being able to craft my own experience through my choices and create a unique experience, personalized every time I make a new game or character.
I read this forums often and prefer to maintain my silence normally to just digest the opinions presented by everyone else in the community. However, I'm glad to say that Dragon Age is a unique experience for all the good reasons that I enjoy being a gamer.
Thanks for bringing us a debut franchise and a successful inheritance of the Baldur's Gate spirit. The choices, combat, and overall presentation through voice acting, a believable world, and a wonderfully composed soundtrack make Dragon Age a game to remember. It's a winning franchise right out of the gate in my book, and unianimously among at least 56 other review sources with an average 9.0 rating (out of 10).
I can't wait for Return to Ostagar and for all the extra content to follow! I hunger for more and I'm already adding Dragon Age 2 to every Christmas list to follow until you bring it to us Bioware. Again, gratz to the guys and girls at Bioware for such a wonderful game and enjoy a victorious holiday with you kin.
