I installed and played ME3 on PC(Windows7) and on MacBook Pro (bootcamp-Windows7).
Now the game is not working (Online Pass issue) on both machines (from tuesday).

I use ME3 N7 Digital Deluxe Edition (Origin PC).
(as I read here on forum there is no Online Pass on PC since patch 1.03)

I have some issues with ME3 like disconnecting from time to time (I have good fast reliable broadband), nothing important to care about. Another case is that my PC is freezing when I turn off ME3 and start it again without restarting PC, so now every time when I start game second time I must do restartPC due to black screen/freezing, well I don't care about it either.

I know these problems with disconnection durring game are because of someone who hosts. I have freezing on PC but not on Mac so It's something with my PC configuration and DLC Rebellion (I have the freezing issue since Rebelion DLC).

Ok, no big issues. But Online Pass is the problem, I cannot play and there is nothing I can do on my side, ..


is here anyone who can help me and fix it!
(customer service is not helpful in that case, 8 notes so far and still nothing)

Not 100 % but if you play with no internet you may be able to play single player with the From Ashes save. So just disconnect from your internet. It seems to me that EA's servers just decide randomly when to work. If they don't work I wait an hour and then they do. It's really weird and annoying.

I am having the exact same issue, starting at the same time (Tuesday, June 12.) I have the boxed collectors' edition for PC and it's been giving me this error for a week now. There's been little progress with support. I've tried on different PCs and different internet providers, to no avail.

I had the the same issues (also using a Mac and Bootcamp ;-) - Online Pass and "Unable to authorize the DLC 'From Ashes'". In both cases the problem was "solved" by providing me with a new product-code for ME3. After the authorization problem, which occurred right after the latest update of Origin and ME3, EA support told me, the origin of the problem was me, using the iOS-app "ME3 Datapad". Since I'm not a fan of multiplayer, the "ME3 Datapad"-App is the only way to bring my "Galaxy at War" readiness to 100%. Either way, this shows clearly that EA and/or Bioware are over their head with the "Galaxy at War" backend-system. Instead of publishing any more multiplayer stuff they should invest more into quality assurance.

Hi. Sorry to hear you're having this insidious problem. There is a thread social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/344/index/12553457/3#12638309 with answers, but I've pasted in the relevant material below.

Summary: Call EA Help (1-866-543-5435). The problem is that the recent update credited your account with too many commendation packs/victory packs (customer service calls them "entitlements"). You need to have an experienced tech a) delete the extra packs, leaving you with the ones you are qualified for (by participating in the weekend events e.g. Operation Mastiff) and B) assign you a NEW product key (i.e. standard, N7 collector's edition, etc.). If you get a tech who tells you to do anything else (uninstall, reinstall, create another account on Windows), calmly tell them that you know the solution but that you need them to do the steps outlined above. Either that or thank them for their time and call back to get a more experienced tech. All of the techs should know the fix by now though.

Below is my experience.

PROBLEM SOLUTION:
The "online pass required to access online features" issue has been confirmed to be caused by an error with too many commendation packs/victory packs (referred to by EA as "entitlements") being given to a particular account. This was my issue.

I called EA a second time (the first rep didn't know how to solve this). Madison solved my problem. He literally deleted my old product key and had to give me a new product key, DLC key, etc. Once I logged back in, I was able to get my entitlements (DLC, victory and commendation pack). I did not seem to have lost any of my unlocks.

There is a note in my account attesting to the fact that he had to assign me a new product key, because now the keys that are printed on my N7 Collector's Pack inserts are invalid (they were borked).

If you are having a similar problem, call EA Help at 1-866-543-5435. If you don't get Madison or a knowledgeable tech, tell them that they need to check if there are too many entitlements allocated to your account, and that they need to provide you with a new product key (make sure they give you an equivalent one), delete the excessive entitlements, and provide you with the proper ones (if you participated in the weekend events).
