lol, people who throw around "ad hominem", but don't know what it really means.

All of these arguments about who's a noob and who isn't are irrelevant to whether the game is better with or without the Krysae. :D

Get lost noob.  If you need a noob cannon to play the game, that's pathetic.

Your manifest points towards you being the noob CmnDwnWrkn.

I mean, Arkley even has medigel in the triple digits compared to your 5. I wonder who dies more often. Image IPB

Maybe OP doesn't die at all, so he doesn't buy JEPs, how about that? Unlikely, not impossible, especially since he's playing silver.

If he doesn't die at all, he would have more medigel stockpiled from recieveing it in the other packs, PSP or otherwise. I rarely die, so I have little reason to buy JEPs and it shows in my manifest.

But no, judging from his posts, his lack of understanding about the classes and what other players who have played with him say, he's a classic noob.

He wouldn't. If he dies rarely he can actually just use more or less the same amount of medi gels as he gets in PSPs. How many PSPs can you buy playing silver alone, how many of them will contain medigel? I have almost no medi-gel, yet I don't think I die often - 0 -1 per game as Kroguard, maybe 2 - 3 times per game as other classes. Sometimes more, if I have a bad day or try something I am not comfortable with (Oh, Phoenix Adept, how many medigels you owe me) Silver. I don't pop medigel unless it is needed or I am embarassed by my stupidity. So I pretty much use what I get in PSPs, but still am permanently on low number.

About other players talking - I have absolutely no idea, haven't seen anything.

I would say I die as much as the people I play with, on average.  No more and no less.  My medigel use does tend to be excessive, I'll admit to that.  I often medi-gel instantly, even when there's a teammate nearby.  It's something to work on.  And I've been buying a lot of SPs and PSPs lately, and haven't been getting much gel out of them.  I don't see what the big deal is.

It's hilarious, because yesterday he attempted to define the term "ad hominem" and got it completely wrong.  And I'm not the definition police by any means and wouldn't care normally, but he's STILL trying to pretend like he's the only one who knows what it means, while everyone ELSE is wrong.

Anyway, regarding the Krysae, I really don't want to spoil peoples' fun.  I do think that many Krysae infiltrators are oblivious to how their play can ruin the gaming experience of their teammates though.

Oh, it's not. I just pointed out the flaw in AshenEarth's logic. Nothing to do with your arguement about noobs, or even less with the OP. Just offtopic.

I agree with the OP's premise completely, for a variety of reasons that I've already explained in previous posts.

But given that they've already made an adjustment on it, I think it's pretty unlikely they'll touch it again, and we're probly all better off just moving on.

The game was fine without it, and it was better without it.  The way to end the Inflitrator/Krysae nerf insanity is to remove the weapon that is causing the problem in the first place - the Kruhshay sniper cannon rifle long-range proximity mine missle.

Sniper rifle was already the most powerful weapon class without it.  It's simply overkill to have this in the game.  It's a totally unnecessary weapon.  If it was taken out, the unskilled players who rely on it would cry for a couple of days, and then they'd get over it.  And the nerf talk would disappear.  And the game would be brought closer back into balance.

It would be good for everyone and for the long-term playability of this game.

In short: Don't nerf it; DELETE it.

Your entire post is just your personal opinions.  It's fine for you to have an opinion as long as it doesn't mess with MY game. But unfortunately your opinion means messing with MY game & that's not cool.

If you think a blue Quarian looks better than a red one that's fine. But when you start talking about taking my guns away & altering my game then we have a problem.

This was the point I was trying to make earlier that was skimmed over. On gold games I have yet to see over-excessive use, and considering I play on the same console as the TC it's from a different pool of players.

The sample size is too small to say, "Well this gun needs to be deleted," you can't say that based on so little experience. The changes made to the game are meant to affect all three difficulties equally. You can't say that a gun needs this or that with experience in only one of three difficulties; which is was BioWare looks at.

If only the multiplayer wasn't competitive, causing people to constantly obsess and cry about what everyone else is doing. BioWare should have made ME3's multiplayer co-op instead, so any individual boost would be a bonus for the whole team.

...oh wait, they did.

Does it really mess people up that bad...?

I've played with (360) maybe a dozen matches with Infiltrators using it and their scores have been mediocre. On silver or bronze there really isn't a point to it. Seriously destroys the fun.  How do you feel about someone using that combo on Gold? Is it messing the game up for people?

I'm with the second poster. I hardly see this thing on PC. I got bored of it the day it came out, and used it less than five times. I score higher with my BW and no one outscores me while using it. I don't get the complaints. The only thing I can think of, for all the crying, is that it is really easy to use. Outside of that, it is far from the best gun in the game.

Stop hating... Krysae is fine now. We don't need more nerfs. It is weaker than the Black Widow now, which is an Ultra Rare. The Weapon is strong and fun to play. I want to have fun as infiltrator too. And fun is not equal to killing. With this weapon we have the new "extra-zoom" and we can explode enemy troopers, not only their heads.

It is a co-op game, that means one person is partially dependant on other people's actions and choices. So your game is his game too - this can be avoided through careful private lobbying, which is PITA for some. Luckily, it is not up to him, or up to you to decide, but up to Bioware. Bioware can not do it or do it, based, between many other things, on opinions like his. So he has full right to voice his opinion, even if it is about YOUR guns, and you have the same right to voice your opinion. But all sorts of "stop posting" posts are completely worthless - you're trying to forbid someone doing something well within his rights.

From what people have said, it doesn't seem to be as big an issue on Gold.  I play mostly Silver these days, and occassional Bronze, and a Gold game here and there but not much, so those are the levels shaping my perspective.

I personally think that rare and UR weapons should be toned down a little on the lower levels.  Maybe not on Silver, but definitely on Bronze.

Would defeat the purpose of having a lower difficulty. If something makes the difficulty too easy it's usually best to step up a difficulty. This is like proposing we ban level 20s from bronze and silver matches.

Every weapon does the exact same damage regardless of whether it's Bronze/Silver/Gold. They're not like Biotic Explosions or Tech Bursts which scales according to your difficulty. Wanting them to implement that sort of scaling system for weapons as well would require a lot more effort than it's worth.

@NCRZombie

The issue is really that you have players who COULD play higher difficulty, but choose to play Bronze, for example, as N7 1000, with a Level VIII Krysae. I have to think this is some sort of ego thing where they like getting twice as many points as the #2 player on the scoreboard or something.

I play Bronze sometimes, but I don't go ape**** with my Turian Soldier/Hurricane build, you know? But some people do play this way.

Did I leave something out? Was I supposed to throw a tantrum so you'd relate and understand what I was saying? You're whining about something that has zero impact on your game. Scores are combined for the whole team, so individual scores are meaningless in the grand scheme of things. The only thing being damaged by this gun and its users is your fragile ego because apparently people are killing more pixels than you and it hurts you deeply. I'd say this is more of a personal problem than anything relating to Mass Effect 3.
