Today I saw a Facebook post from the official Mass Effect page about some new t-shirt designs they have. Here's a few selected comments on it:

And yet months later with the same tired memes and whining being repeated ad infinitum (lolartisticintegrityderp lolspeculationsderp lolRGBderp) over and over and over again, fans are still getting OUTRAGED when others call them entitled childish whiners. Surely, these upstanding individuals did nothing to deserve such insulting labels.

Hmmm...

People tell you apathy is a bad thing, but they're wrong. Apathy is an very important quality, especially for heroes. It's a necessity in an age of advertising, politics, social networking, and the internet, none of which are ever going to go away. Heroes can never and will never be able to do what they do if they bogged down in crap.

... and Bioware already conceded to "fix" the game by spending hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of man hours and resources with a free DLC that's currently in progress... so why keep whining about the same tired crap? It's like a parent who finally gives into the demands of a child to go to an ice cream parlor, but the child continues to *****, whine and moan all the way during the car ride to the establishment.

It's the partial ME3 fanbase of nerdraging whiners who believe their way is THE way all must follow and if not you are STUPID, most of them are children or comic book guy kind of adults who can't say something without an insulting remark which they believe to be "witty".Same guys who have been whining since ME2, now they just have another excuse to do so, probably don't have anyone who pays attention to what they say in real life

Neither do I. We have a legitimate problem and are seeking a dialogue to resolve it.

Except the EC seems like it won't adress any of the problems regarding the ending.

It's the Valve effect. Anything Valve posts immediately draws people to it for no other reason so they can post the same thing that they've moaned about a million times before over again: "Where's Episode 3?"

Same thing with Dragon Age 2 for Bioware; anything with the word Bioware in it drew people in to posting complete non sequiturs about why they thought DA2 was a bad game and where Bioware went wrong. Even when it wasn't anything to do with DA2.

Similar story here. Some people find pleasure in going on and on ad infinitum, as if anyone cares.

People who work at Treehouse Brand Store, the people who make most of our clothing for us, have NOTHING to do with making the games, the Extended Cut, DLC or similar.

If you're going to complain about us not working on the EC, at least blame the right group, or you look pretty stupid.

Depends on what your problems were in the first place, doesn't it?

Very true. Mine are very minor mainly wanting a few more assets shown and the joker issue.

Why are you surprised? The ending(and the whole game) sucked and a lot of people are still angry about. I've stopped caring(though I'm still annoyed) but a lot of people haven't.

I don't see the big deal. Why should customers put more money in a machine that didn't give them what they expected/wanted in the first place? Love it or hate it, there are people that invested a lot of money and time in the series, expecting some big pay-off in the end.

Face it, when your "artistic vision" is so convoluted (or bad) that people have to create an entirely different interpretation on what really happened for it to make sense, that should tell you that something went wrong.

@Unschuld: Sorry, but I laughed at the 'hundred of thousand dollars worth of man hours and resources' part. Oh man, really, you're overestimating EAware's efforts a LOT. And you know, all this complaining wouldn't have taken place if they gave their customers a game that made sense, not a game representing corporate greed. (Tali's face, Chobot, Javik, writer favouritism in favor of Liara, etc) Maybe YOU are willing to take whatever crap EAware shoves into your face, a lot of other gamers aren't. So quit your whing about the whining, fanboy. Same goes for jakal66.
