I can't believe this is still going on.

These comments aren't on the THBS facebook page, Chris. They're on the official Mass Effect page, which THBS doesn't run. You're erroneous in your claims that these people are harranguing THBS about the EC, because these comments go to the Mass Effect page, not the THBS page. (There are those who post similar things on the THBS page, and I don't support that one bit, but such is not the case here.) Of course you're gonna get the "I want the red one! No, wait! The blue one!" jokes on a merchandise-related post, even if they are stale at this point.

Side note: THBS runs the BW store, so if people don't want to buy merchandise to support BW, that's a perfectly reasonable course of action.

I can believe this is still going on. People will not forget about this any time soon. The story isn't new anymore, so it has fallen out of favor with the media, but those of us who were suckerpunched will never forget how the game and BioWare's dismissal of our concerns made us feel.

I don't think people will stop unless Bio Ware change the ending. I doubt EC will change much if it does i would be very surprised

Doesn't matter who manufactures and sells the shirts. They are attacking the brand. They are attacking Bioware.

It's like that with every post. I'm mostly pro-end but even I think they deserve it on their Facebook page. Sometimes having a presence on a social network means being, are you ready for this? Unpopular.

I hate the ending as much as everyone else but I really don't care at all anymore. I stopped caring months ago and honestly I don't see how fixing the endings will make the rest of the game any better.

The irony here is pretty lulzy.

This comment was posted on the official ME FB page, not THBS. At least blame the right group, or you...

Oh nevermind.

Are you implying that I read previous posts?

Because when I do, I don't.

This tends to happen when you choose to ignore the fanbase and just do what the staff of IGN want OP. You think this is bad now? Just wait till the day after the extended cut comes out.

Well i think its not a bad strategy, becouse, if someone complain to you, you could simply ignore him, but if a comercial partner starts to lose money for that complains then the partner could become a complainer to. I dont realy support the whining, but i belive that ME3 has a realy bad, baad, BAAAD ending and i hope that the EC could change that, i hold my whining until then

Neither do I. We have a legitimate problem and are seeking a dialogue to resolve it.

Auto or manual?

This made me laugh.

If only Bioware hadn't removed the Neutral option we'd be able to have a decent conversation! But like in ME3, there is no neutral option when it comes to the endings. :P

complaining is a good thing, and the fact that people are still complaining means theres a serious problem that's not yet fixed

They need to fix more then the endings like how they handled the LIs, killed off everybody even if there was no need for it, screwed up the beacons and how they work and their lore, dropped the LP, dropped shep being a mental prothean, dropped shep's trial, the lack of wheel driven dailouge between shep and his crew at the very least, and other things. All this along with pick 2 ending colors to disregard and give us 2 original endings.

It's the Valve effect. Anything Valve posts immediately draws people to it for no other reason so they can post the same thing that they've moaned about a million times before over again: "Where's Episode 3?"

Same thing with Dragon Age 2 for Bioware; anything with the word Bioware in it drew people in to posting complete non sequiturs about why they thought DA2 was a bad game and where Bioware went wrong. Even when it wasn't anything to do with DA2.

Similar story here. Some people find pleasure in going on and on ad infinitum, as if anyone cares.

Reminds me of this little gem.

Ha this is great. This is why I love this fan base, they just never give up, even when they tell us we've lost, they keep at them.
Hiiiiilarious. You reap what you sow Bioware.

You're sure they, like almost everyone else on this entire website, didn't just anticipate ME3 to be great, but were instead letdown?

Only sheer and utter dumbasses make baseless assumptions like you did.

Hm, when I am let down by something, I don't spend months bashing it and the people who developed it. I just shrug my shoulders and move on to something else.

At this point, those comments do come off as whining. they bring nothing relevant or helpful to the subject being posted. They are just people needlessly complaining.

The complaints and arguments regarding the ending have pretty much achieved all that is it can with the Extend Cut DLC being the result. The ending will not be changed, Saying you are making these comments to let them know what they did wrong or to let them know that you won't put with the ending is pretty much pointless now. They know what people thought they did wrong and that people are angry in regards to the ending. They are taking only as many steps as they are willing to in attempts to address the problem.
The message has been received by them and the reply is being sent. Anything else now is just unnecessary harping on the subject. The people complaining aren't making any helpful critique or suggestions other then a demand for a overhaul of the ending.

While slightly blunt for my tastes he is right. Issues and complaints thrown at the wrong person only makes the speaker look ignorant and stupid and hurts the group he/she supports.

I if was Dave  Priestly  which actually is my first name name I would treat you nerds allot harder. Not only for this but for the whoe me3 flame damn. This guy is sure taking it easy on yall.

Chris, I think it's simply the fact that EA's monetary resources are going to making paraphinallia in an attempt to earn more money off a game that many people feel disenfrachised with since the whole pre-release quotes/ending controversy. Meanwhile, there has been zero communication on the details of the EC.

Expecting people to act any differently to what you have observed the past 5 years ME has been an active topic on these boards seems a little short sighted, IMHO.

Still, can't blame you for those things, you're doing a great job keeping the forums clean, so thanks.!
