People who work at Treehouse Brand Store, the people who make most of our clothing for us, have NOTHING to do with making the games, the Extended Cut, DLC or similar.

If you're going to complain about us not working on the EC, at least blame the right group, or you look pretty stupid.

You know it really sucks being in the minority. I'll get shunned just for not hating the Ending I worked for. People who liked the endings are called "blind," "unintelligent," and "wrong" because they don't hate them just like (presumably) "everyone" else.

The Mass Effect sequels are certainly on the level of the Star Wars prequels quality wise.

It's possible. But personally, I'd also place Mass Effect 1 on about that level.

Number 2 comment was funny and to the point but you didn't have to be number xyz to repeat the sentiment. :)

EDIT: And yes I catch myself thinking people who like the ending are kinda ... slow... But it's ok the world wouldn't be a bellcurve without you.

I think you need to go watch the Plinkett reviews and think about that statement again. Here, I gave you a link.

It was a joke anyway, but I really can't stand the Plinkett reviews. He makes me laugh at times, but I think he's given far too much credit, both in terms of how he disparages the prequels and how the original trilogy is placed on such a high pedestal. It's like Smudboy's unfortunate tendency to dig through all the nitpicky details, rather than focus on the overarching problem.

To be honest I don't care about the merch, wouldn't buy it regardless. On whether it's fair or not for THBS to be spammed over this controversy, I actually believe it is a legitimate cost of doing business.

When an organization chooses to enter a business relationship with another party they inherit the baggage of their new partner. Therefore under a free market, the negotiated terms of trade will reflect the total cost of doing business. If McDonalds were to get a license to make Marlborough Man happy meal toys, they're going to make sure to cost in the storm that would result. In this extreme example, I believe that transaction costs are so expensive that McDonalds can't do business with Altria. In fact it got so expensive for Nabisco and Kraft to be associated with RJR that the parent company had to carve out the tobacco business from the conglomerate.

So really a business' behavior and reputation affects the transaction costs not only for themselves but all past and future business partners. Some people will not work for companies with bad reputations unless the compensation is increased to make up for the BS they deal with professionally and personally. (I notice a lot of grumpy forum mods, have you asked HR about needing extra vacation or compensation to handle the BS on this forum?)

I hope Ms. Chobot was well paid for her crappy lines for all the hate she received. You can bet she'll be wiser when doing such transactions in the future. You can also be sure that the hassle of dealing with this controversy will be reflected in terms of trade between EA and THBS if they weren't already priced in to the current dealings.

A business can mislead and insult customers all they want and they may even stay customers but you can be sure customers are going to make it expensive to deal with them in the future. (The business of cell-phone contracts). For BW you've already seen this in how much time paid employees have to spend time dealing with rage when they could be doing their real jobs in the office. And in future what it will it cost to get jilted ME3 customers to pre-order a future game, surely more than a couple of downloadable guns.

That's a fairly insightfull assesment.

A shame it most likely gets drowned out in the flurry of posts in here

I'm afraid I'm going to be shunned for liking the Ending I have. Why is it so wrong to like it? What? I HAVE to hate the Endings to be a "Hardcore" Fan? Do you know how stupid that sounds? Just because I'm a fan, doesn't mean it's a"Law" to hate the Ending, or the entire Game. I'm a Hardcore Mass Effect Fan, and I like the Ending I have. I'm not called MASSEFFECTfanforlife101 for nothing.

With respect to Chris Priestly who is an excellent member of the community.
A member who works actively behind BSN, Twitter and Facebook, not to mention many conferences where he meets up with fans to address their issues.

That said. Maybe the word "stupid" was an error. I have made plenty of worse comments on these forums (that I regret by the way) without being banned. But my biggest gripe is a misreading of what is being said here rather than the wording.

My gripe is the fact this comment ignores a huge issue. The fan in question was bothered about the fact that further merchandise was being sold when the issues with the game were not resolved. That was the issue. It was seen as an insult.

they are clearly specifying that the pursuit of tech for tech purposes is not a good so the destruction of all tech vis and synthetics alike is the "hope" the series bases it self on .. its like in escape from la when snake send the us back to the dark ages,,, its not happy but it does save them. the more things change the more they stage same " snake pliskin" not embassitor udina

No....IF you have very low EMS, then yes. Everyone, and everything on Earth is incinerated, and the same blast travels through the Relays, causing "Galactic Extinction." BUT, with very HIGH EMS, the blast is only a wave which deactivates the Reapers, killing them, and leaving giant lifeless creatures on the ground.  Earth is saved, and Organic Life survive. Even you survive.

Better question: why should you give two craps whether any of us consider you a true fan? It's a loaded phrase, designed to ****** people off, more often than not.
