I'm gonna have to jump into the graphics conversation really quick...
You think Kelly looks ugly in ME3? And Zevrann is ugly in DA2? Alright, that's wonderful and everything, but what's your point? You're aware that character models and art style is COMPLETELY different from graphics right?
If Bioware made the ugliest character of all time in Mass Effect 3, and the prettiest character of all time in ME1, the GRAPHICS in ME3 would still be better.
^ This, in a nut shell. Bioware isn't the first game to change a character's model. But, a character's model isn't what makes the "graphics" bad. If the game is fuzzy, lacks anti-aliasing, washed out textures, or plagued with graphical glitches, then the graphics would be to blame. The graphics in ME3 were rather impressive, in my opinion. Compared to ME2, the textures are quite sharper, SSAO, excellent geometric detail, and the inclusion of 'god rays' during gameplay. Both use the same game engine, so it's not a huge difference. But I definitely see a little improvement.
Whenever someone talks about textures, I always think about replaying MGS3 on the HD Collection for the 360. It's all pixely! D:
