I sympathize with indoctrination theory and this thread is mildly amusing.

Actually it all makes sense now. The ending is just a test by the Geth to see if they can truly trust him. They want to see if he's willing to throw the geth under the bus (destroy), impose his will over synthetics (control), or truly accept them as life and become one with them (synthesis). In Geth consensus theory, the only correct choice is synthesis, as that is the only way the Geth will let you out of the virtual world. The other two choices involve him being trapped forever (control) or dumped on Rannoch (destroy)...left for dead, he can only live if he has enough EMS...

And why not? This thread is quite good as a "neutral ground", so "pro" and "anti" don't need to start "holy wars" in their own threads.

hey seival, you obviously don't have any ACTUAL beliefs on the ending at all because you spew out so many trollish new theories at an alarming rate, which leads me to actually wonder whether you care about this game at all. The idea of shepard never leaving the geth consensus may be a legitimate (if totally lame) interpretation of the endings but your final comments in the OP suggest the motives behind this hare brained theory are to be totally counterproductive to people willing to still try and love these games. If you love the game like we ITers do, we should stand together whatever our intepretation of the endings, and accept our views. Good Day

But what if the thread HAS THE HIGH GROUND?

EDIT: ...nope, this one doesn't.

Since when do we have our "own" threads? And why should it be "forbidden" to post in "other" threads? There is no holy war, just discussions, which is the point of a forum. If you don't want to be disturbed and only look for support/yes-sayers to your ideas, make your own website or write a blog or whatever...

*sigh* The reason for this thread has actually become even more senseless by now, as far as I am concerned...Posted Image
