Just maybe...

YOU UNDERESTIMATE MY POWER!

But what if the thread HAS THE HIGH GROUND?

But estabanus could nuke a thread this lame even with no legs or arms.. Posted Image

Don't underestimate my nukes, because I've got... METAL GEAR!

And a few cardboxes to hide in.

You see? You see? They'll never see my attack coming! It's the perfect thread deterrent force!

Did you miss the bit where THIS NEVER HAPPENED?
Pure 100% speculation proves nothing. there is no justification for this theory and the burden of proof lies on YOU! You can't turn around and say disprove me, that's not how logic works.

IT theorists have at least provided circumstancial evidence to back up their speculations. You have provided absolutely none.

There's no point in even replying to a thread which is based on making events up.

Ah, that brings back memories. (Stares dreamily off into the distrance)

That kind of adventure games only bring Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis into my mind.

Have you ever played a Monkey Island game?  If not:

I did. Posted Image Starting with 4.

*sigh*
I came here expecting some sort of discussion and evidence. I'm supporter of the IT, but I also like to see other theories. But it irritates me when people do things like this :\\

There was no evidence to discuss. the so-called 'theory' was a thinly veiled trolling attempt

C'mon. The idea of a virtual reality ending is quite intriguing. Even if hardly grounded in any evidence.

Isn't it obvious that this is the intoxication theory 3.0?

Judging from the OP's post it is Posted Image but the idea itself is interesting.

Following through this logic, I can conclude that 2 + 2 = firetruck

Estebanus, do you REALLY want to go down this path again? :bandit:

BTW, is that emoticon appropriate for the emotion I want to convey, or did I just frak up mightily?

Anyway Seival, I have a playthrough where I didn't do the geth consensus mission.

Does that mean that the endings are literal for me?

Being compeltely serious now, the main reason we can disprove the consensus theory with a different method than one used to disprove ITis the presence of legion in the consensus. Shepard's journey through the consensus is very much a shared one, whereas the grounding for IT is that when shepard comes to after the harbinger beam, we have no company in the same way to ground us in reality. Sure, anderson and TIM are there, but not to start with, so they didn;t enter the hallucination with us and so could be generated in the mind. Legion entered the consensus with us, and as such kept us grounded in the real world.. Feel free to debunk this stuff if you disagree
