 Hi there,

I'm having a problem where the screen for unreadable disc keeps popping up. I'm currently on the mission Horizon and when I reach the room with the 1st Banshee the screen will come up saying unreadable disc. I decided to restart the mission with a different squadmate however at the same room and time the screen came up again. I'm wondering whether this is just a glitch with the game or is it a problem with everyone who is playing on insantity or is it just a problem with my game disc/xbox 360.

Please reply quickly as I want to complete this brilliant game very soon

I wouldn't be surprised if this is a corupt save game issue. Have you attempted to clear your system cache? Also, have you attempted to install the game to your hard drive?

This, as well as the DLC. The downloads for the DLC seem to frequently cause this problem for some reason. Try deleting and re-downloading any DLC you have, or even just playing without any of the DLC installed.

Well thank you for your suggestions however I did get by the part I was stuck and now I'm playing on disk 1 because I'm at Earth. I think it might be the disc because I've got the Collectors Edition of the game and most people who are having this problem suggests that it is the disk, but I'm hoping that this won't happen again. If it does I will consider the suggestions that you guys have offered. Thank you.

try playing offline and see if that helps; or as others have said it could be a corrupt save file.

if its just this game then i wouldnt worry about it being your xbox - my lens went kaput in my old xbox get the disc cleaned professionally at a game shop!

or do what i know some friends have done... rent the game and switch the discs =x

I'm having this problem now with my collector's edition. I put in disc 2 and get "unrecognized disc". Disc 1 works just fine. Should I just try to exchange it?

i had the problem with both discs on my CE, the store i bought from swapped the discs for me and i still have the problem.
i thought it may be my xbox, but the only other game i own that has disc read errors is battlefield 3, so i don't know.
