What about IT are you attacking. The interpretation of the ending itself, or the belief that the ending was intended to be incomplete?

All of it. The whole thing and everyone who believes in it. I'm attacking all of them.

People who believe in IT want to believe in IT. They don't want to believe that someone wrote a bad ending to ME. They need some kind of canonical authority around this and they don't want that canonical authority to be weak and stupid. But it is.

So they believe in IT. IT is so stupid that you have to really want to believe it to believe it. Only stupid people believe in IT. You would have to be stupid to not see that IT would be a badly-written ending itself, thereby negating the very purpose of believing in IT in the first place.

Stupid people cannot be argued with rationally. They need to be herded around.

So much stupid in this post.  I mean that literally, not as an insult.

Excellent rebuttal.

Obviously both.

Yea.  Both are pretty ridiculous ideas.

It's not a rebuttal.  Merely an observation.  I counted 4 stupids.

I have plenty to say, but in this post I was struck by the humor of so much stupid in one post.

I try not to say "stupid" because it sounds immature.  But IT is just such slime that it came out 5 times in my short little post and whatever if Eric Voegelin can use it as a technical term than it is a good enough word for me.  I think it was used properly.  Let's all say a prayer that we have less opportunities to use the word in the future.  I doubt it will be answered, though.

I agree with the basis of what your saying, but I disagree with you on a fundamental level, so...
That the ending is 'open to interpretation' means that the IT is a viable theory, and you have no right to call people who believe it delusional. That said, I don't believe it was planned.

Also, you checkmark is upright and strong. I'm guessing you were looking at a horse when you drew this one.

Is this the best the ITers can do? Criticizing word choice?

I expected a raging defense of their beloved religion. Their theory must truly be built on sand.

Anxiously awaiting the flood of IT banners.

Though I don't quite believe it, I will admit the the IT has had a lot of thought put behind it. Not many people would've been able to connect the dots that people have connected. It's one of the more interesting and unique fan creations I've seen in a while.

It has too much thought behind it, if you ask me.  It's pretty banal, really, but it sure gets people excited.

First: I didn't read a damned bit of your post op because of the topic name. When the first few words out of your mouth are hostile why should I even bother after that, and honestly this is stupid and will get you no where other than earn peoples hate.

Second: IT is very much like fanfiction. Are you going to go to FF.net and tell all those people they are stupid for writing a side story even if it immensely twists the actual story and its science? Let them have their story.

Third: They will believe what they want to believe, you arn't going to change their minds all your going to do is ****** a bunch of people off while blowing hot air. This is a troll post end of story, this will end in a flame war. Also I am positive hardly, if any ITer will actually read what you wrote just because of the topic name, so who are your talking to? Maybe be civil next time instead of a condescending douche?

Also side note: I'm not an ITer, if BioWare uses IT, well good for them, if they fix it another way, good for them too, still not buying anything from them again.

Moving for a mod to close this before it escalates.

I think it's entertaining how you contradict yourself by being hostile in the first couple sentences of your post.

2. Those people acknowledge that their work is fan fiction. That is acceptable. They know that it is not real. The ITers will attack you for not accepting their illogical mess of a theory. They are misguided, delusional, depressed, deviants.

Nothing else you said was worth the time I spent not reading it.

In the matrix i would take the blue pill.
Therefor i would accept an illusion over the horrible ending presented.
That is all.
