People who believe in IT want to believe in IT. They don't want to believe that someone wrote a bad ending to ME. They need some kind of canonical authority around this and they don't want that canonical authority to be weak and stupid. But it is.

So they believe in IT. IT is so stupid that you have to really want to believe it to believe it. Only stupid people believe in IT. You would have to be stupid to not see that IT would be a badly-written ending itself, thereby negating the very purpose of believing in IT in the first place.

Stupid people cannot be argued with rationally. They need to be herded around.

That's what shepherds are there for, herding the sheep... controlling them, synthesizing with them, destroying them when they get hungry... :bandit:

This thread is a fine example that fascism is alive and well here on the BSN.

I didn't know I was promulgating the extreme devotion to one's country, the glorification of their history and ancient heroes, far right nationalism, militarization, and imperialism.

If there is any fascism, it arises not from we few who accept the truth.

OP is butt hurt about something that doesn't effect him the slightest, still trying to fathom why he even bothered with the idea of posting this. Like I said, not going to change anything.

What should I be "butt hurt" about? I realize the truth. I'm simply trying to liberate the deluded from their darkness.

But they prefer to doom themselves.

I believe IT is a fun way to try and justify the endings. True or false.
Would love for it for BW to use it in the EC, but doubt it.
*crosses my fingers*

Fanatics that won't let anyone have other opinions but the IT being real should be shot on sight though. This isnt a dictatorship ;) Same thing as people should also be allowed to think IT is true.

Not too many forum posts do change anything.  Has a forum post ever changed anything?  Do IT posts change anything?  Probably the OP hates IT the way you hate that really irritating person loudly having a conversation beside you and he just wanted to vent on the forum and hear some other people that thought the same about IT.  Not the most constructive thing ever, but great things rarely have their beginnings on the Bioware forums.

Why should I give the slightest attention to what the general consensus of this forum, filled to its capacity with fools, deviants, perverts, liars, and cowards, think about me?

I laugh at the idea.

LOL, yeah, that too, but it's not really what I meant.

It's the idea that nobody should have the right to see and experience things differently from you and the people who agree with you.

According to OP, we should all be mindless automotons that blindly accept the kool-aid that is served to us.

O, I'm well aware most of the posts here don't change a thing, most of them don't objectively try to do that. This one on the other hand does, and does so in an incredibly hostile manner, which all that does is garner hate and flames (which in these "dark" times we could use less of). I honestley wouldnt be here posting if it didnt outright attack and call me stupid for one of the ways I like to think about the ending.

This is a shameful. Not a single soul dares to publicly defend his misguided beliefs. Likely because of the internal sense, that primordial feeling, which one experiences when he realizes that he is wrong. It's quite wrenching indeed.

No. Instead, I'm greeted with counter arguments of "troll".
