Please don't drop me into a Geth nightmare with three team-mates down on Gold. With an experimental character build and new weapons. Eek.

Maybe there should be some kind of 'No bronze games available - there are x silver and x gold in progress - would you like to join?'

3 teammates down on Gold? Probably the Host who stealth-switch up from Bronze without leaving lobby. There's a glitch (I think) that doesn't update the lobby system when Host changes setting while in lobby.

Yep, though I don't think it's a bug - I think it's just an oversight.

This is one of many reasons that Match Maker systems are terrible terrible things that should go away. User created lobbies and dedicated servers should be standard - certainly for PCs and preferably for consoles as well. An early online console fps series, SOCOM, was able to do it in the early 2000s - yet 10 years later we get broken match makers..

Now that's just mean

This is the reason why I always host. So no one will stealth me and change the difficulty. Even though I can hold my own (just...) on gold, I prefer bronze or silver for screwing around with new builds and such.
