Nope. Yvonne is part of Miranda. Taking that away would be like taking away a part of her psychology. It wouldn't be the same character.omgodzilla wrote...
Would you be willing to have Miranda back even if they got someone other than Yvonne to voice her?
Yvonne Strahovski on Extended Cut?

Could be a great set-up for ME4 as well - Conrad taking on the roll after Shepard

They could get Claudia Black. She did VA for 2 nd 3 so why not? Equally as tasty.
And count me among those who did not hate Jacob.

Yvonne practically makes the character what she is. It would be really hard to find someone the same attitude and style.kratos0294 wrote...

Whether or not Morinth's original voice actress was available, I'd bet that the decision not to bring her back as a character was based more on the fact that very few people recruited Morinth. For the average person that played Mass Effect 2, Morinth was just a person they killed on Samara's loyalty mission.
The problem with Morinth was also that once you save her, she doesn't do anything. She doesn't have many conversations, we don't bond with her, etc. She's evil Samara with less dialogue.

Morinth is a dead Banshee now so it matters not. We killed her during the battle in London!
And, no, Morinth's character was only interesting before she is killed/saved. Samara FTW.

As huge a fan of Claudia black both at a live- and voice-actress as I am, I would still have to disagree with recasting the role of Miranda in this way. It'd rank up there with re-editing Hayden Christensen into the end of Return of the Jedi in terms of travesty.

You really think they're gonna pay to bring their voice actors back for the EC?

And that's not to say that the other voice actors aren't high profile. It's just in reference to recent events... Just thought I'd clarify.

I think that is what probably will happen. I hope not but realistically she will be too busy with Dexter.americanidiot53 wrote...
She's probably too high profile of a voice actor for dlc. Remind me. Did she have any character specific dialogue in the ME2 dlc? Feel free to prove me wrong. For now though, I'm gonna remain pessimistic about Strahovski returning for EC with all the Dexter buzz and such that's been going on recently.

Oh no, I think you overstate. That was the absolute worst, mostly because he was so ungodly awful as Anakin. Nothing could be THAT bad.

Not all of us saw her dead in london, many of us killed her in an apartment on Omega.
