so im trying to do lelianas companion quest. and i dont know when the stupid thing  worked or not, as far as i know im supposed to ask her about the spies and her being one (which i did) and then a random encounter is supposed to happen, does this happen immediately\\? because iv been going back and forth between denerim and orzamar for like half an hour, encountering bandits, wolves, etc.

but no spies or what have you, nothing to do with her quest. iv tried all the dialog options and im still not getting any encounters after i leave the camp.

hmm..im doing that and nothings happening, im looking at the wiki and it says i need to talk to her about some person named maroin or marjoin or something and she hasnt, there was no option to talk to her about that when i did..is that mandatory for the quest?

It's a random encounter.



She talked about being a spy or she talked about Marjoliane?

Yes, you have to get option to talk with her about bards being spies and get her to tell you about Marjollaine, after that convo you get random encounter that triggers the quest.

Indeed.

The Marjolaine discussion is not initiated by the player... after you talk to her about her having been a Bard, and that she "found" herself in Ferelden, next time you are in camp, she will initiate a conversation with you about how she lied to you about why she left Orlais. It sounds like you've had the initial conversation about spies where she admits to having been a Bard, but that you haven't had the followup conversation yet. So... get back to camp.

I gave up on Lelianna. Even 1.02 she is still so buggy. I never get any dialogue options with her. Even at +99 adore.

After you figure out she was a bard a scene should trigger when you go to camp (probably approval based) where she says she lied to you about why she left Orlais and tells you about Marjolane, after that when you travel the world map with her in the party you should get the encounter.
