How likely are you to purchase DLC and future Bioware products, if the EC is a bust?

Not trying to start a fight here, but i think a large majority of you would. Large enough to give Bioware the idea that no matter how bad they screw us, you'll keep giving them money. Because I remember 3 months ago, almost everybody was talking about holding the line/wallet, and how Bioware will never see another penny from them again.

Now not so much. Seems like a lot of you have forgiven Bioware. If i'm wrong, feel free to tell me how wrong i am, but i've seen this kind of thing before. Consumers complain and complain, and yet they keep buying the companies products. I do know of some specific people on here, that will probably stick to their guns, but i'm not sure about the rest of you.

I might buy DA3, if it seems like they learned from DA2, but I'll most likely never buy anything ME again.

While I disliked the ending, I enjoyed ME3 and the ME trilogy.
If they offer me quality content at reasonable price, why should I deny myself more Mass Effect awesomeness?

Not unless the new game or DA3 seriously impresses me like DA:O did. And even then, there is no way in HELL I'm preordering. I preordered DA2 and ME3, I got ripped off in both cases IMO.

As of now I will never preorder another BioWare game. I will buy DA3, but probably after a while.

As for the DLCs, if the EC fails, no more taking out the wallet for me. If it doesn't fail, I migth consider buying some DLCs, if they're any good.

I will most likely not buy any paid DLC. With Mass Effect games I have stages where I play them days on end then leave them for months. I only bought Mass 2 DLC about a year ago (Kasumi, Overlord, Shadow Broker). So unless it looks really good I doubt I will buy paid ME3 DLC.

Dragon Age I have no interest in.

I will always be cautious of BioWare products from now on.

I was always cautious of stuff that came from EA anyway, but until now I thought BioWare were a bastion against the constant profetization of anything that game corporations produce now.

Before ME3 came out, it was going to be my last EA/Bioware game. It just isn't the same company anymore. EC will fail regardless.

The ending of ME3 is one of those situations were one small moment can wreck the enjoyment of the whole.  If the EC doesn't correct the errors I'm not getting any DLC as the current ending makes any DLC pointless and I may drop any future games.

If EC is a bust future ME3 DLC is an absolute no-go, and any future Bioware games will be treated with caution.

One thing I can definitely say is that I won't be pre-ordering a Bioware game again.

For me3 if the EC doesnt sort out the mess they made , and to be honest I cant see how they can when they broke the rules of storytelling (see hero's journey), then no I wont be getting any other dlc's from them.
I may look at da3 as they MUST have learn t from Da2 (good story's rubbish game bad ending) and ME3. But they are diluting their brand even further with other EA studios being named bioware so its not looking good imho.

I don't see how you're coming to the conclusion that people have forgiven BW.  Considering the 'hold the line' folks have their own site dedicated to that whole idea - I'd say you're wrong.  I don't think it's a case of the other gamers 'forgiving' but more of a case of them moving on with their lives/gaming.  There will always be trolls/haters/flamers/malcontents that come on here to rant, but they don't represent the entire audience for BW.

Personally, I'll play/watch the EC myself at least once.  As far as future dlc goes it's not about 'holding the line/wallet' for me, it's about entertainment value for my dollar.  Considering this is the last game of Shepard's story, I don't what they could come up with to get my money.  A dlc involving Omega wouldn't do it.  I don't like Omega at all. Or what's-her-face that runs it.

As far as future Bioware products, right now I'd say no.  My interest in gaming as a whole is extremely low.  I don't like the way they run their company from the way Priestly handles things on here, to their advertisements, to their t-shirt and sneakers, to their ****** poor books, to their crap-tacular comics.  Everything about the company is unappealing to me.  I'd be more inclined to pick up a game by Bethesda or nothing at all.

The EC would have to be absolutely amazing for me to even consider ever paying for any kind DLC for Mass Effect 3. As for future Bioware games, I can say I will never preorder any of their games ever again. I've done it with Square Enix (Final Fantasy use to be my favorite RPG series) so I have no problem doing it with Bioware.

I bought DAO: Ultimate and DA2 for around $30 at a local store, he tossed in DA2 for $7 so I took it. I played both games and DAO by far has my attention .. sure there are qualities in DA2 that I like but I enjoy DAO more I've done at lest 3-4 playthroughs on DAO and only had the game for like a month or so

It will affect my decisions when deciding to get a Bioware game or not, but if I hear good things about a future game from them then I might get it. I won't let a mistake ruin the potential of great games in the future.

I'm still onboard for DA3, though I probably will not pre-order this time since I'm a little hesitant after DA2 and ME3. But I still love that series and have faith that they've been taking notes.

If EC is a complete and total waste of time and only reinforces the lore and plot holes that the ending originally introduced? I will not put any more money toward the ME franchise, no. Which sucks, because I would have been all for the Omega DLC that people are talking about IF I thought it had some glorious, positive impact on the rest of the game. But if it all ends in inevitable disappointment, why would I go back and do more missions? I stopped playing the MP awhile ago (I'm not a big MMO person to begin with and I certainly didn't need this feature on my SP action RPG), but I recognize that a lot of people love it. So, will my abstaining make an impact on EA or Bioware? Probably not. But whatever.

It will not affect my decision in the slightest. If a film director makes a disappointing movie, that doesn't mean I will avoid all his future movies, and it certainly doesn't make me decide to vocally boycott them!

If the EC is a complete failure that doesn't take any of our complaints into consideration, then I will most assuredly not buy any of the DLC, and it's doubtful that I will purchase any games from Bioware again without waiting to hear fan approval weeks after release.
