How likely are you to purchase DLC and future Bioware products, if the EC is a bust?

I will always be cautious of BioWare products from now on.
I was always cautious of stuff that came from EA anyway, but until now I thought BioWare were a bastion against the constant profetization of anything that game corporations produce now.
Pretty much this.

I was already pretty wary after watching the way DA2 developed. I never played it; I wasn't even remotely interested when I saw the direction that the game took. Made the mistake of getting pretty excited for TOR and while I enjoyed the time I spent with my friend in the game, I didn't renew past the second month after release. I've played multiplayer two or three times since I beat ME3, but that got old pretty quickly and I haven't opened Origin since.
Any time I see a Bioware/EA game, it's still really easy to recall how upset I was with the end (and some development choices) of ME3. I don't anticipate that changing in the near future.

What determines me buying DA3 is all about whether or not they learned from the mistakes of DA2. It has nothing to do with my gripes about ME3. Different game, different team and I don't see why I should put the two together like that.

bioware is not EA. this WILL hurt bioware, their rep is dead and gone now and that is something they will never get back. EA will live but bioware will be in it deep tell DA3, if its good they will limp on if not....knightnblu wrote...
Agreed. The longer this goes on the deeper and harder my feelings toward the company goes. They are waiting for the negative reactions to burn out and that is a great mistake because for some that will happen, but for others it will go so deep that there will be no curing it. But such feelings haven't seemed to hurt EA so what do I know?

Um, actually BioWare is EA. BW heads are integrated into EAs lead positions.
Just an FYI.

To be clear, I do not hate ME3, only the ending, whose authors' "artistic vision" is to see Shepard commit suicide via three choices that on the surface seemed different but are all identical in theme.
This isn't the ONLY WAY I want ME3, which in essence, the ME series to end. And definitely not wat we were led to believe via developer interviews and inhouse promotional materiel.
So, unless the ECDLC gives me a reason to want to play tge game, why would I want to purchase any other DLCs to extend gameplay onlyvto know that I have a ****ty ending / extended ****ty ending to look forward to?
As for other BW products, my "Automatic It's a Bioware game pre-order SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY NOW!!" response is "offline and under maintenance" till BW proves itself to me again.
So, you see, this ECDLC has more then just a game's ending to fix.
It needs to fix customer trust and loyalty.
Like any other relationship, the more you trust, the more loyal you are, the greater the hurt and loss when that trust and loyalty is rewarded with betrayal.

Since it is only a game and I have nothing to lose, I will check out anything ME related.
A fool and their money are soon parted. (Yes, the EC is free. Any further Bioware products will not be.)

It was developed by 38 Studios & Big Huge Games. It was published by 38 Studios & EA. Bioware had nothing to do with it. Get a clue.thefallen2far wrote...
There was a Bioware game that came out recently before ME3.... Kingdoms of Amalore.

As for other products in the ME universe or made by Bioware, I definitely won't discount them on account of this mess. However, I certainly won't be contributing to their first month sales any longer.
Interesting enough, this whole thing did get me to play through DA:O again. I forgot how well done that game was. It filled me with such a sense of joy to play through it that I went out and found a copy of DA2... the magic is gone. It was okay, but I'm certainly not eager to check out its other DLC, nor did it make me want DA3.

I'm weary of the ignorance and BS surrounding this game from all sides. I'm certainly not going to waste my money and buy more products from Bioware after this.

Not trying to start a fight here, but i think a large majority of you would. Large enough to give Bioware the idea that no matter how bad they screw us, you'll keep giving them money. Because I remember 3 months ago, almost everybody was talking about holding the line/wallet, and how Bioware will never see another penny from them again.
Now not so much. Seems like a lot of you have forgiven Bioware. If i'm wrong, feel free to tell me how wrong i am, but i've seen this kind of thing before. Consumers complain and complain, and yet they keep buying the companies products. I do know of some specific people on here, that will probably stick to their guns, but i'm not sure about the rest of you.
Not much point in posting/voting in different polls repeatedly about not buying future games/DLC if you have already done so =) BW should have understood by now that a lot of fans are upset and won't be spending money on their games unconditionally from now on. Or maybe they just don't care or think that they will always have new players to replace the ones that left. "Clever marketing and making games more accessible to new players" and all that.
Maybe a lot of people simply just don't care about ME/BioWare games anymore, or are just waiting to see if EC will make ME3 ending at least beareable for them. If there are fewer angry threads now, doesn't mean that people forgot about this whole "artistic" fiasco =)
Personally, I don't really care about ME3 anymore. I'll see if EC will restore my interest in ME franchise, but I really doubt it since they won't really change anything about their dramatic and oh-so-artistic ending.
I'll probably wait and see how DA3 will end. Because if they pull something like remove magic from the world to stop abominations and mages/templars conflict, killing main character with forced oh-the-Drama and leaving his companions in the Fade - that would be.. *double facepalm*
Off to play good old KOTOR.

If the EC is a complete failure and let´s be honest people I don´t any changes will satisfy anyone at this point, then I will not trust them again.
