How likely are you to purchase DLC and future Bioware products, if the EC is a bust?

Maybe, someday if they release a game that gets good reviews from a source I trust (not IGN or Game Informer), I'll reconsider. But that's likely a long way off.

Which is almost zero by the way. And it is because of Dragon Age 2 by the way, not Mass Effect 3's ending. Dragon Age 2 was so unforgivably bad it almost made me not get Mass Effect 3.

The reason is that I just don't want to fall in love so deep on a game, be so emotionally invested in it and only to have my heart broken all over again like I did with ME (yes it may sound silly but the pain I felt after the whole ending thing it's just so real it's insane! Never I thought a game can clobber me down like that and bring me down to my knees X_x)
Even IF I decided to play their game again one day, I'll probably won't get a new one. ME3 is and will be the last game that I'll ever pre-order.
And about the forgiving thing, well.. I don't know about 'forgiving', I'm just trying to move on with my life and forget about this whole stuff

Not trying to start a fight here, but i think a large majority of you would. Large enough to give Bioware the idea that no matter how bad they screw us, you'll keep giving them money. Because I remember 3 months ago, almost everybody was talking about holding the line/wallet, and how Bioware will never see another penny from them again.
Now not so much. Seems like a lot of you have forgiven Bioware. If i'm wrong, feel free to tell me how wrong i am, but i've seen this kind of thing before. Consumers complain and complain, and yet they keep buying the companies products. I do know of some specific people on here, that will probably stick to their guns, but i'm not sure about the rest of you.
The only thing I could ever imagine buying would be a DLC with Miranda, but that's quite a stretch.
I'll probably just youtube it.
Fact is I don't even play ME3 anymore.

If BioWare ever makes a great game again, and I check fan reviews to make sure it is, then I'll buy it at a discount price. Right now, though, no.

Regardless of the quality of the EC however, ME3 will likely be my last Bioware game. I do not support their "jack of all trades master of none" design formula, I despise their influence and direction in the videogame industry (post ME2), and I absolutely condemn the manner in which they have been treating their fans recently.
In short, Bioware can redeem the Mass Effect series in my eyes, but not much else.

The series has brought me a lot of joy. It has also brought me a lot of sadness, and not the good kind where you're sad for something happened in a tale but the bad kind where you feel hurt and disappointed that they'd betray the world they'd built so badly. However, I've enjoyed the games for the most part, and it was only my level of investment in them that allowed the failing to hurt so much. So I have to give my respect for their storytelling, and hope that they'll address the issues that I believe mar an otherwise excellent work of science fiction.
So, to summarize, yes, I will consider buying things they produce.

But if it only gets good reviews then I'll probably wait until it hits the bargain bin before I'll check it out.
In other words, Bioware as a brand (because that is what Bioware is now) has lost a lot of goodwill, unfortunately. Not the end of the world since I can remember when American cars = clunkers while Toyotas = cars that would outlive cockroaches. But Bioware will have to earn my gaming dollars like every other company.
I'll never buy the DLC unless it's bullet-proof great since usually DLC is a total ripoff.

Now to the question. Let's change "How likely are you to purchase DLC and future Bioware products, if the EC is a bust?"
into
"How likely are you to purchase DLC and future products, if the game in question is a bust?"
Most people will continue to buy future producs, as will I. I am not going to go all dramatic and sad because a game didn't turn out the way I wanted to be.
Let's not forget, that NO matter what Bioware releases, Most that hated the ending, will hate whatever they release later on. Haters gonna hate.
