The EC would have to be absolutely amazing for me to even consider ever paying for any kind DLC for Mass Effect 3. As for future Bioware games, I can say I will never preorder any of their games ever again. I've done it with Square Enix (Final Fantasy use to be my favorite RPG series) so I have no problem doing it with Bioware.

If the DLC doesn't deliver what I want, I won't buy any more ME3 content and will have serious reservations concerning any future BW product. I can, somewhat, understand them making a mistake the first time but then being given a second chance AND copious amounts of feedback and then dropping the ball AGAIN? No. That'd be a betrayal of the fans. I do love ME3 though (besides the ending) and would consider maybe doing one last big ME playthrough as a goodbye, depending on how bad the EC was.

But that's only if it's bad. Which I hope it's not. All I want, really, is for them to explain the weird behaviour/movements of Joker/crew, give me a reunion when Shepard lives and tell me what happened to all the people/races post-war. They give me that, and I'll forgive them. I loved ME3, especially the characters. But the way it ended ruined it. What's the point of interacting with all these people/races if it all goes nowhere? Fix that, and I'll be happy (and willing to spend). Good thing is, their statements match this. Bad thing is, I'm a pessimist at heart. HURRY UP BW!

It totally depends on the subject matter.

I'd definitely be interested in the deluxe love interest pack that gives me more story content in that regard, maybe a couple side missions, and additional cuddle time.

A take back Omega dlc would be intriguing.

A dlc involving an epic mission to save mom (and actually finally get to meet her!) from Reaper-controlled space.

Oh and maybe a choose-your-own-ending dlc, (I'd shell out a 100$ right now to get a satisfying conclusion to the ME story arc.)

Future BioWare games? Yeah, I'll probably buy them. But DLC for ME3 if the EC sucks? Seeing as every piece of DLC will take place before the ending, I seriously don't feel the need to buy them if the EC doesn't redeem the ending. What is the point in playing an extra mission when you know it will have no impact on the ending whatsoever?

There's no way the EC is going to fix the problems I have with the game, they'll need to fix much more than the ending before I consider buying *any* Bioware / EA DLC or even their games new.

ME3 was NOT the straw that broke the camel's back for me, before ME3 I was a solid bet for a pre-order CE, I was a bit disappointed with DA2 but not to the extent that my loyalty was affected.
ME3 completely destroyed my trust in BW as a developer and showed that they were prepared to nullify story arcs that THEY created in the name of bigger profits and at the expense of players (customers) who had invested much time and money on their products. So far they've lost the following -

MMOs are not my thing but I had intended buying SWTOR to give it a go... that will not be happening.

I have refrained from buying any BF3 DLC for my boyfriend.

Instead of buying KoA I bought Dragon's Dogma.

I intend that any future BW/EA products will be bought used.

I'm not likely to buy any EA games even if the EC is good. I might buy Dragon Age 3 pre-owned.

I'll probably buy future Bioware games. Although this will be done with caution and after price drops. As for DLC if the EC fails I don't see much point in spending money for DLC on a game that I won't play again.

I really dont care if the EC will satisfy me or not. I will decide to buy future DLC's and Bioware games when i can read critics and user reviews about the products.

i prefer to make my own opinion based on me playing. don't really trust too many reviewers, well besides angry joe bout the only one i acftually go to, otherwise again i make my own decision. reading isn't the same as experiencing it for yourself

You are right. I prefer also to make my own opinion. But i dont trust anymore advertising and marketing of a game. My own experience is that i can judge a product better when i read a lot of critics and user reviews, then i can decide if i want to buy it or not.
I dont care if i have to read through spoilers to get enough information if i should by a game or a DLC, this way i know that i will not regret my decision.

DLC for ME3, absolutely not.

Future BioWare games, no pre-order, no word of mouth, only after released, and probably tried before. And very critical about making the judgment.

I will always be cautious of BioWare products from now on.

I was always cautious of stuff that came from EA anyway, but until now I thought BioWare were a bastion against the constant profetization of anything that game corporations produce now.

Not a big fan of DLC anyway. I was only tempted to buy it for ME because I thought it would add more to the story and shape the outcome of the game. It didn't work out that way.

It's pretty much impossible for the EC to repair the damage done to ME for me. I haven't bought or don't plan on buying anything from Bioware after what happened ME3.

Not buying DLC unless EC is over the top AWESOME.

But I paid my $70 for the game and I'm gonna play it even in MP (using in game credits only). SP only up to the beam with Harby, then turn off console.

Also no more EA games will be allowed in this house!

Considering the amount of money they keep pushing into MP, I doubt we will see any decent DLC for SP. So there won't be a problem.

This thread is like a customer survey that BW should pay close attention to. I really hope that they are reading this. On the other hand, they might just decide that this is just a small group of people, plus there's that pesky artistic integrity thing. I agree that in the future they might be planning to concentrate on MP anyway.

+1 after DA2, SWTOR and ME3 I think my patience with BW has pretty much run out. If it's good enough to turn up as an ultimate edition for a tenner then I'll probably get it - if the fandom reviews are reasonably positive anyway!

I have to wonder why I even bother posting on these threads. My responses are always so predictable. Just a bunch of juvenile pouting and empty threats.

Likewise, I have to wonder why people make continual statements like this, asking people "why are you still here?" when they can simply ignore the thread. You chastise others for doing essentially the same you are: pouting and whining.

Food for thought.

While I disliked the ending, I enjoyed ME3 and the ME trilogy.
If they offer me quality content at reasonable price, why should I deny myself more Mass Effect awesomeness?

LOL, you sound like your making an E3 press conference. Are you John Ricotiello?

To answer the question, no. If the EC sucks I am not going to buy BioWare /EA again.

Not very much. I've already vowed off buying their products until the EC anyway, especially with the amount of dismissal and disrespect that was directed the fans' way when all the hubbub about the ending started up.

If the EC is a success (and I honestly am not sure it will be), then BioWare's on my blacklist, joining Ubisoft and Activision developers.

Chances are zero that I will fund anything else Bioware makes at this stage. It will take something quite special and of considerable quality.
