 hello ,

i got a little problem here , i cant success in join or host any multiplayer match and this is the first time that happens , im from italy and i regullary ping 100+ on ea core server , but when i try to join a match it stays on "looking for match"  , if i host one match , nobody joins .
As already wrotten , this is the first time , i was capable of playng ME3 in multi , but after a short period of non playng its impossible for me join a match.

Recently i've tried (with success ) to edit a save game for restart the game with another class , with the same points (lvl 60) ... its possible that i've messed up with the multi function ?

To make mass effect 3 multiplayer work UDP ports 3659 and 6000 have to be forwarded in your router to your pc or UPNP has to be active. Firewall on your pc must allow UDP traffic through these ports. If you don't understand what it means ask someone to help you.

Because you can't even join a game it's most likely a firewall problem. And since it was working before, you (or someone on your home network) has probably changed something in your router or firewall settings or installed an antivirus on your pc.

Save games have nothing to do with multiplayer unless your touched something else in your game folder.

The ports were's already forwarded , and the upnp service was already active both on router settings and windows , ive also forwarded these ports following this guide

Are you running any third party firewall programs? Antivirus programs often come with firewalls for instance If any of them are active it will disable both port forwarding and uPNP. Try turning all firewalls off (temporarily of course) and see if it works that way, if it does you can then try to pinpoint the problem.

Restarting your router may help.

Are you using static IP? Dynamic IP's can change, preventing port forwarding from working.

Did you by any chance change your ISP recently? Some of them are total crap and are only meant for surfing the web.

How many times did you try quick match? If it doesn't find anything within 20 seconds just cancel and try it again.

c) im using a dynamic ip system , but the ports are not supposed to be forwarded on router adress?
d) i've got the same isp when i can play ME3 online

You forward ports on your router to a specific computer on your local
network referring to it by it's IP. If this IP changes it will no longer
work.

It's VERY strange that quick match is not working because it should work without any port forwarding or UPNP. Did you try to turn your windows firewall off? Also what happens when your search for quick match. Does it just sits there forever or do you get a "connection lost" message?

so forwarding ports its preety useless with a dynamic ip connection (that's strange beacause i've suffering a lot of time ago about continous disconnections related to my router settings and windows game live crap for playng RE:Operation Raccoon city and i've solved by opening windows game live ports) btw the setup is :

protocol UDP
ports forwarded : 3659 , 5659 , 6000
local ip adress :192.168.1.2

Upnp : active
also activated both in services.msc and in the connection settings
(i use to deactivate it when i play bf3)

i got a tp-link td-w8961ND

sorry for this lot of infos i've gave to you but im a real ignonant in this math


2Nd thing :
It simply sits there with the little blue ring connection moving in the backround , than it disappears and stays there in "looking for a game" , sorry for possible bad translation but i got the italian version of the game , so i've to translate myself

3rd thing :
I think that, i've messed net settings because i've tried to instal some kind of crap for a p2p connection for some ****ty torrents , but i've uninstalled that crap manually , resetted all the values back as it was before and clean the registry with c cleaner to have a "clean" uninstallation of that trash

Tried with windows firewall off ... and doesnt work

Stupid idea :
I've unlocked the chackram launcher and reckrap armor by playn the orrible rpg could it be that unlock write down on my account something strange? just because i can enter market , character panels and everything i've unlocked till couple of days ago.

Btw Dor1co , its my origin ID , add me , maybe i could get a "live" help and a match togheter ....

Well yeah installing 'some crap' can do nasty things to your pc. You can always go for reinstall. I'm out of ideas hier.

P.S. Probably will not play till next weekned but wil try to add you then if your problem persist.

looks like i've solved with an hard reset of my router , looks like Utorrent block the 3659 port and ive noticed because even bf3 doesn't work , btw thanks for all the help
