Why use Sheploo?

Lolll...Bioware does claim to have the numbers, that 8 out of 10 Sheps are custom faces. People want to be themselves or the imaginary version of themselves.o Ventus wrote...

Wait, which Mark Vanderloo are you talking? Masculine? OK, Meer give the tone to think as Shep as masculine, but IRL Vanderloo is a lady. I like to use default Shep in both genders. But that have little to do with the dutch model.

I can make Fem Sheps but all the customs Bro Sheps are just too bulky in the face for my liking, so I just stick with Sheploo..

This, on the other hand, is a royal douchebag.

It's amazing what a change of hair can do.

Vanderloo is attractive, certainly. And Meer is a very talented voice actor. I just don't use them because I, personally, prefer a different appearance and voice for the protagonist.

Custom shep>sheploo, if only because I can get away from the industry standard of white male with brown hair
I think there is a term for that... D I L F

I agree Sheploo is hot with the combo of Meer's voice and default face .

I don't know about you people, but the eyes are everything to me, one single look like that one, and I'm yours. Damn,
Edit: no point in lying

I tried making a new face, once, for a playthrough in a different style than I usually do, and it was really, really jarring to hear the same voice out of a different face.

Shepard is the same Shepard no matter what he looks like. How does one face make him a mailbox head while another makes him smart and amazingsauce? At least Sheploo looks like a normal human being though, I've not seen a single custom face that didnt have any glaring flaws that completely ruin immersion for people like me who are OCD about their characters appearence in RPGs. Ive seen pictures that look good, but whenever i take the facecode in-game I end up discovering that at certain angles those faces end up awful looking, like giant gorilla bow bones, or awkward chins or something. Honestly, Mass Effects customization tool is deep, but ultamitly flawed. All the custom faces just end up looking goofy especially in the same shot as highly detailed faces like Miranda and Liara. Its not nearly as bad for Femshep, but still funky lookin. (Not that her new default isnt equally goofy looking now, facepalm)
Skyrim, now theres a game with a fantastic customizer, you actually have to put effort into making your character look messed up in that.

Skyrim? Are you kidding? I need like 20 different mods just to make a character that doesn't look like a 70 year old cave-dweller.
Granted, the underlying tools are there to make it good but damn they went overboard with the wear and tear. Just because it's vikings doesn't mean absolutely everybody has to look like they were repeatedly assaulted with a boat oar. Just sayin..

Uh, says you. My character looks fine maybe early 30s. Besides, everyone in that game looks old and rugged, thats the environment they live in. You never see rugged mountain men that hunt grizly bears ofr a living that look like super models. Harsh environments tend to make people look a certain way.

Which explains why the elves look worse than anyone.
Wait, no it doesn't.
Yeah and why is it whenever I point out that they went too far with the ruggedness people immediately snap back with "supermodel". What is this a binary state between "grizzly mountain person" and "the catwalk"?
