Lately, i have been hearing rumours that Bioware has gotten mixed
in the developement in Warhammer Online.  I really hope this is true
because currently, mythic is ruining the game by their share incompetence
and lack of will to remove cheaters and wage war against cheating.

If any from Bioware were to read this, check this link and you will
know what you have infront of you to solve.

Mythic has also been known to 'threaten' players talking about this
issue on the forums. I have been told myself, after starting a thread about it,
that if i were to bring up the subject again, i would be banned from the forums.

The current status i Warhammer is that we see cheating & hacking on
a daily basis, and have been for over 8 months, and mythic is not doing
anything about it.   There are entire guilds that are known for cheating
and they still play, after several months.

So if it is true, that Bioware is going into Warhammer, please take
the gloves of and crush the cheaters.  There are alot of players who
love the game, including me, that are getting fed up with Mythics continued
ignorance and incompetence towards this issue which is destroying the game.

how can you be denied saying somthing that is true, it is called censorship and is not democratic. An issue like this needs to be addressed insted of hiding it under the carpet.

I dont like warhammer online, i hate all mmo rpg's entirely and find them a money drain honestly. However that said, a game should be cheatproof (unless it specificly says that you allow cheats in the game in games such as empire earth for money cheats ect for stupid play fun)

If they're posting it on Mythic's forums then Mythic does have the right to moderate the posts. Not much that can be done about it.

The internet is neither a democracy nor truthful.

both of you are correct, however how can you moderate a bioware forum when mythic has no involvement with them.

Dreez, I feel for you as a guy who played Warhammer pretty regularly for 6 months. However, I honestly think the writing's on the wall for WAR. It was a nominal success but EA sunk way too much money into development, hoping it would be a "WOW killer." I think Bioware is on damage control duty right now, with most of the company's MMOG staff assigned to getting the Star Wars MMO out the door.

As far as I know, Bioware has no involvement in the development or expansion of Warhammer Online. Bioware have their hands full with other, more important stuff.

Well the BioBoard's own Tin Foil Hat Brigade would have you believe that as EA controls both it's possible for a thread to be closed here about Mythic to be closed down.

Anyway, I thought you were referring to the censorship on Mythic's forum being unjust.

BioWare is not helping Mythic with Warhammer Online. Mythic developers have been shuffled into the BioWare fold to help with SW:TOR. This was announced many months ago (several months after WAR's release). The truth, however, does little to ease my worry. Warhammer turned out like crap and I hope the developers from Mythic are only doing grunt work under BioWare's direction.

Warhammer is not that bad. They just pulled off a major f*ck up by using that crappy old DAoC engine instead of using a newer one. They shot themselves in the foot from Day 1.
